Google CEO talks about Android and Google+ in open letter
Google had an awesome year in 2011 as the new CEO Larry Page took over. With Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich launching, the emerging of Google+ and everything else in-between. While it was his first year since taking the head position at Google today he's decided to share an open letter with the public and shareholders about Google and updates everyone on their goals, focus, and plans for 2012.

News reports are just hitting the wires that Google will be replacing the CEO of Motorola Mobility once the merger is completed. Big news as many wonder how and if things will change once Google takes charge of one of the biggest hardware manufacturers and patent holders in the mobile market. According to Bloomberg they'll be replacing the CEO with one of their own. Who is ready for that fully opened and unlocked Motorola DROID Nexus coming this September with Android 5.0 Jelly Bean?

Meizu MX quad-core smartphone coming in May 2012
We've heard plenty about the new Meizu MX smartphone lately and now its been officially confirmed that the quad-core version will be hitting the streets at some point come May 2012. We first heard of this phone back in August with rumors of a Q3 2011 launch but that ended up being way off. Today Meizu CEO J. Wong confirmed they'll be releasing the second, quad-core version come this May.

Just breaking news this evening Steve Jobs has officially announced today that he will resign as the CEO of Apple. No this isn't a joke either. He has officially announced in an open letter to all board of directors and the entire Apple community that he will no longer be able to meet his duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO. I know we are all about Android, but this is big news.

Last night after the Motorola event, CEO Sanjay Jha was asked a few questions regarding the new devices as well as some future devices. One of the questions that came up regarded the secret Tegra 2 phone that we have heard was rumored to be released before this years holiday season. He went on to say that there is a chance Motorola will launch one more phone before the end of the year, however, the Tegra 2 phone could be pushed back to the beginning of 2011.
