Nexus 7 Folio Case arrives in Google Play Store

With little notice, Google has made quite a few additions to the Play Store today. We saw some tablets and smartphones and also a few new folio style cases for the Nexus 7. The cases have arrived as the Nexus 7 Folio and are available in Bright Red and Black. These are compatible with the 2013 model Nexus 7 and available from today with a price point of $49.99.

Moto G Flip Shell hands-on

Following a lengthy series of rumors, Motorola officially announced the Moto G at an event back in mid-November. Since that point we have been watching the handset begin arriving. The North American launch began in Canada and that was followed up with an earlier than expected release in the US market. But along with the announcement for the Moto G itself, Motorola also detailed some accessories. With that in mind, we have recently been spending some time with the Moto G and for today, we have a hands-on with the Flip Shell.

Case-Mate Style Box trial program launched

Ever experienced that moment when you saw a beautiful smartphone accessory online but wasn't sure if it would actually look good in reality? Case-Mate is apparently quite familiar with the situation, enough to start its Style Box risk-free trial program that will let customers try out their wares and return those that they don't like.

New Nexus 7 cases arrive in a flurry of colors

The new Google Nexus 7 was announced earlier this week, and is apparently already being sold a few days early from multiple outlets. We all know how Nexus accessories aren't the easiest things to get our hands-on, but apparently ASUS has plenty already in the works for the new tablet. Yes, it's made by ASUS in case you didn't know, and we're now seeing tons of colorful cases, and more.

FingerQ case rocks a built-in fingerprint scanner

Do we really need fingerprint scanners on our smartphones? You can hide messages from the government if used right! According to a few case manufacturers we do. Back in the day Motorola released the original Atrix with a fingerprint scanner, and that was the end of that. However, we're now seeing a few case manufacturers push towards "the ultimate in security" for our devices too.
