Will the Galaxy S4 be squared-off? These cases think so

With the official event and announcement for the Galaxy S4 just a week away, we're starting to see more and more leaks and rumors regarding the flagship handset. This week some reportedly "official" cases for the upcoming Galaxy have been spotted at the annual CeBit trade show, once again showing a squared-off design. Could the new S4 be slightly shorter and wider? These case manufacturers think so.

MakerBot Replicator 2 MWC demo shows custom case printing

It is a shame that this demo wasn't with anything running Android, however it is mobile related and it is rather cool technology. For those not familiar with the MakerBot Replicator, it is a desktop 3D printer that you can use to print out things like, well, cases for your smartphones. The MakerBot Replicator 2, which is the fourth generation is said to the "best desktop 3D printer on the market." The unfortunate part here, with a price tag of more than $2,000 this is not something the average home user is going to purchase, or even see.

LG hands-on with “world’s smallest wireless charger” and Optimus G Pro case

In addition to the smartphone announcements, LG has also made some smaller announcements. Of which, one is actually being touted as the "world's smallest." This one happens to be the LG WCP-300 Wireless Charger. Another item being shown off is the flip cover case for the Optimus G Pro handset. We recently spent a few minutes checking out each of these while on the show floor here at Mobile World Congress.

HTC One cases coming soon from OtterBox

This week HTC finally took the wrapping paper off their new flagship smartphone the HTC One. While the event was full of excitement and their awesome new smartphone, as well as accessory cases, a few companies have already detailed their plans too. The popular and durable OtterBox brand will be supporting the new HTC One right out of the gate with their most popular case versions.

Pelican launches two new cases for Samsung Galaxy S III [Hands-on]

The heavy duty case company Pelican who is known for their hard, durable, and waterproof cases for everything from cameras to rifles is entering the smartphone business. Pelican has actually offered a few waterproof "cases" in the past, but they were more of a bag or box completely protecting the device. At CES we learned they'll be offering actual every day cases soon, so here's a few hands-on pictures.
