Verizon has had their Share Everything plans available for more than a year now, but there are still some that have been holding their now-grandfathered-in unlimited data plan. Big Red is also getting ready to have the Verizon Edge upgrade plan available. That will arrive on August 25th and as that comes available Verizon has what they are calling a special offer for those who are planning to use Edge and are "concerned about losing their unlimited plan."
AT&T launched the Moto X today and a bit earlier this morning we saw the MotoMaker customization site go live. While that all sounds good for AT&T customers -- it likely leaves those with other carriers wondering when the handset will be available. We still need some carrier announcements for specifics, however there is a bit of good news coming from Punit Soni, VP, Product Management at Motorola Mobility.
T-Mobile began the UNcarrier approach back in March. At the time they announced Simple Choice plans for individuals. Those same plans then came available for families in mid-July and as of today they are available for business users. T-Mobile is pushing these plans as being able to provide customers with "more flexibility and choice about how they buy and use wireless devices."
AT&T has announced the latest 4G LTE expansion news. Except this time around we aren't seeing any markets that are getting coverage today. Instead this time around they are getting a look at the markets that will be getting coverage throughout the remainder of the year. And in addition, AT&T also provided a status update in terms of where things stand at the moment.
Verizon Wireless. The carrier, along with Transit Wireless has announced that service will be coming "over the next several weeks." Those venturing into the subway with a Verizon device will be able to find coverage in any of the 36 stations that are already online.
AT&T has confirmed some of the still missing details for the upcoming Moto X smartphone launch. Simply put, the carrier has announced the release date and pricing. So without any further adieu, the Moto X will be available with AT&T beginning on August 23rd. They will have the handset available in the 16GB and 32GB model and they will be available with monthly payments (under the Next program) or on a two-year agreement.

US Cellular launching shared data plans. We have yet to hear anything direct from the carrier, however another leak has surfaced regarding those plans and this time around there are some pricing details included.
