We finally can get a good look at the latest Android offering from Sony. This time around, they are introducing a new Walkman, these new pictures are going to be used in an upcoming promotion for the device. In the past we’ve only seen renders and a quick blurry shot. It’s a nice looking compact media player, this should be a good one.

According to a press release by Orange UK, the Galaxy Apollo will launch soon and will be exclusive to their network.  If you were hoping to get your hands on it and you’re not in an area that is supported by Orange UK, you may be out of luck for awhile. There is currently no unlocked version that I could find. This device is a mid-range Android handset and it can be you’re either on a Pay as You Go Plan or on contract.

Since Android was introduced, there have been many complaints about its lack of .avi and .divx playback. Since then there has been a few phones with .divx capabilities but there still was no player for the rest of us. The RockPlayerBase allows any Android 2.1 handset to playback XviD, DivX, Mkv and even RMVB files. .

Well, it’s safe to say that the cat is out of the bag. And it brought a few other kitties with it. Not only will the Galaxy S Pro release on Sprint soon, the Galaxy S be joining it. If they are true this will be a pretty impressive tablet. Samsung has a history of being able to deliver hardware pretty quick so the wait for this slate may not be as long as most.

This little beauty goes by the name, WindPad 110. It is a 10-inch Tegra 2 Android powered tablet manufactured by MSI. It runs Android 2.1 and hopefully it will make it to the market soon. But for various reason devices powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processors seem to get delayed for various reason so there might be a bit of a wait for this to be released.
