Android bug sends messages to wrong contacts?

Multiple Android users are reporting issues with the native messaging app on their smartphones, particularly on the Google Nexus One, whereby text and MMS messages are sent to a person other than was initially intended.  The problem - which has apparently affected both modified and stock handsets - occurs when the messaging app switches the contact in the To: field of its own accord; sometimes it can be seen to change it, while at other times it happens without any visible change. Owners of the HTC Incredible have also reported the problem occurring on their phone, so it's not something limited to the Nexus One.  Some users have been able to reproduce the fault by maintaining two separate SMS conversations and switching between them mid-typing.  Google are apparently looking into it, but there's no official workaround beyond deleting old conversation threads when you're finished with them. Early BETA Of Fennec Available Now (Firefox mobile)

Like beta testing? The long awaited fennec browser for Android is finally here (kind of). This app was complied for the Droid but don’t feel left out if you don’t have a Droid. It’s slow and buggy on whatever Android device you install it on. It is something to play with so the download link and a few videos are after the break.

Android Update on the Touch Pro2 (Video)

The XDAndroid project, for Windows Mobile devices with (W)VGA displays, has progressed to a fully usable port of Android to a Touch Pro 2. Past ports haven't been as successful as this one, there were too many bugs and the build was not user friendly. That's now a thing of the past and maybe now all WinMo phones with a WVGA display will be able to load Android and use it like it was the native OS on the device.

New Google Listen integrates with Google Reader

After being out for months with no update it seems like Google totally forgot about this app. Or, maybe they have been working on this updated version. Listen from Google Labs brings podcasts and web audio to your Android-powered device.
