ASUS MeMo Pad 7 available today for just $149

If you've been looking for a cheap budget Android tablet and can't afford the Nexus 7, the folks from ASUS have confirmed this afternoon that their new 7-inch slate is available today for just $150. It's called the MeMo Pad 7 and is essentially a Nexus 7 without the fancy HD screen or quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Then again, it's only $149 for the 16GB model so check it out below.

HTC Desire Q and P smartphone details and pics revealed

The folks from HTC have just announced two new budget smartphones for their popular Desire series. After seeing a few reports and initial rumors on these two phones last week, today we have all the details. Complete with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Beats Audio these little smartphones are average at best - but will make great mid-range budget devices.

Scroll Excel III is a 7-inch dual-core Jelly Bean slate for $165

Hands-on with the new Lenovo A- and S-series tablets: Aiming for the Nexus 7

Today here in Barcelona, the folks from Lenovo have announced a trio of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered tablets to take on the market. More importantly, Lenovo wants to take on Google's own Nexus 7 with two aggressively designed and priced 7-inch tablets in their new A-series. LG Optimus L7 II, L5 II and L3 II hands-on: Coming in all sizes

The folks from LG have unleashed a full array of smartphones here at MWC 2013, and we've been able to get our hands on all of them. Acer Iconia Tab B1 leaks ahead of CES

As you all should know, budget tablets are expected to be a huge part of 2013 after the success of Google's Nexus 7.
