Chrome for Android will improve by “leaps and bounds” soon
Who has tried out the new Chrome for Android beta? While we love it here at Android Community it's still in beta and has a ways to go, not to mention be available on more devices. Today Chrome’s Senior VP Sundar Pichai had a sit down and was able to chat about Chrome and Chrome for Android with CNET, and had some interesting things to say regarding the browser and it's future.

Adobe: Flash support not included in Chrome for Android
Just like many of you, I downloaded the new Google Chrome for Android this morning and quickly realized that Adobe Flash was not supported. I had a feeling it wouldn't be, and now after confirming its lack of support Adobe has made an official announcement basically following up on earlier announcements that they weren't supporting Android moving forward. That was fast!

Firefox 10 update hits Android Market, Flash still missing
For all those users of the popular Firefox browser for Android we have good news today. Firefox 10 has just landed in the market and the update is available now thanks to Mozilla. Along with tons of improvements to overall stability and performance we have a faster and easier set up and sync, but Adobe's Flash Player is still missing.

Expand Ice Cream Sandwich’s web capabilities with Browser+
The web browser built in to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich rocks. It's so fast and stable that it easily beats out any of the third-party alternatives, and new features like a Chrome bookmark sync, built-in full screen and a Desktop mode mean you won't need the extra features in apps like Dolphin Browser HD. But even the best can be improved upon, and thanks to Android's open-source nature, it has. Browser+ is now available for free in the Android Market, building a few handy extra features into Ice Cream Sandwich's built-in browser.

Firefox Android tablet UI comes out of beta
As a dedicated user of Firefox on the desktop, I keep a close eye on Mozilla's Android version of the browser. Unfortunately their efforts on the mobile platform have been somewhat underwhelming so far, with two primary complaints being sluggish performance and a head-scratching interface. The recent release of Firefox 9 on the desktop has been mirrored by the mobile version, and now the updated tablet interface has been pushed out. The Honeycomb-friendly UI will be familiar to anyone who's spent time in third-party Honeycomb app.

Dolphin HD updated to version 7.2, shows minor improvements
The ever so popular browser Dolphin HD has just recently received an update. Though improvements were minor, they will appeal to many. Backup data written to the SD is now encrypted, the option to disable the Toggle Webzine button was added, and by popular demand they've brought back the double-tap to exit feature.

Android’s native browser beats Opera Mini, still lags behind iOS
Ready for a whole new set of browser wars? Not content to keep the web browser battle to the desktop space, Google's native Android browser, uh, "Browser", is now beating the long-standing Opera Mini for worldwide mobile browser market share. However, both are still far, far behind Safari, which commands over half of the market as of October 2011.

Dolphin Browser HD updates with bookmark sync
I've always found that one of the most frustrating things about constantly flashing new ROMs is that I have to set up non-Google apps like third party browsers all over again. Today that process gets a little easier in one of Android's most popular browsers, Dolphin. Dolphin HD7 includes a bookmark sync feature, backing up your bookmarks to Dolphin's servers, not unlike Chrome or Firefox Sync.
