Boost MAX hands-on and first impressions

ZTE announced the Iconic Phablet during CES, and more recently, the handset has been announced for Boost Mobile. The name has been changed to the Boost MAX, however the specs are the same as we saw back in early-January. Basically, we are looking at a device with a 5.7-inch HD IPS display and powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Anyway, ZTE has been kind enough to send over a review unit, and what follows is our initial hands-on and first impressions.

Boost Mobile launches the 5.7-inch MAX phablet

Boost Mobile has announced the immediate availability of the MAX phablet from ZTE. The handset is simply dubbed the Boost MAX and will bring a 5.7-inch HD IPS display. Boost Mobile is playing up the size of the display here, tempting folks with a bit about how the large screen size of the MAX "brings the best of a smartphone and tablet together."

Boost Mobile Moto G arrives by way of HSN

Rumors of a Boost Mobile Moto G surfaced last week and it looks like the handset has quietly come available. The catch here is the availability. For now it seems that is limited to HSN, the Home Shopping Network. The Moto G is priced at $129.99 and those considering a purchase will be able to choose from a handful of color options.

Kyocera Hydro Edge and Galaxy Prevail II confirmed for Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile has confirmed the availability Samsung Galaxy Prevail II and Kyocera Hydro Edge this morning. The Galaxy Prevail II is available for purchase as of today and the Kyocera Hydro Edge will be arriving in the not to distant future. As standard practice with Boost Mobile, both of these devices will arrive contract-free. The Galaxy Prevail II will be $179.99 and the Hydro Edge will be $149.99.
