When will these Transformer Prime owners get a break? Earlier on we saw severe GPS issues, and now the community is very aware of the random lock-ups so many seem to get after the Android 4.0 update. We haven’t seen any issues with our own models, but that doesn’t disprove the hundreds of posts over in an XDA Developers thread claiming the same obvious problem.

ASUS has responded via Gary Key, technical manager, that a fix will be out sometime at the beginning of February. To top it off, Bluetooth and WiFi are having issues functioning simultaneously as well. Hopefully, the fixes come batched together.

If the Transformer Prime wasn’t so amazingly awesome, then I’d say they were building a poor name for themselves. But you have to take a few factors into consideration; this is the first Tegra 3 quad-core device on the market. There are bound to be a few obstacles the manufacturer isn’t used to working with.

If any owners find a fix for their devices locking up, you’ll be able to find it fastest if you follow this thread. However, we will still be keeping an eye out for a remedy so check back with us every so often.

We’ve seen ZTE next-generation 7-inch tablet before, but only as a rounded rectangle courtesy of the FCC. Now Unwired View spotted the ZTE V66 running through the certification gauntlet at Bluetooth SIG. There isn’t much more to report on the Verizon-bound device, except that it’s certainly got Bluetooth. But the spcial interest group was kind enough to throw up a thumbnail of the tablet’s front press shot, which you can see blown up below. While no dates are mentioned, the presence of a finished photo indicates that the tablet is ready for release soon – though not necessarily on Verizon.

The previous leak indicated that the ZTE V66 (likely a codename that will get changed later) will have a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and a full gig of RAM, paired to an admirably high-res 1200×800 7-inch screen. Honeycomb will have to do as far as software goes, and the photo from Bluetooth SIG certainly reinforces that. Verizon’s 4G LTE connection is packed inside, making the V66 one of only two Verizon LTE 7-inchers we know of – the other being the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

There’s no word on price or availability but ZTE tends to try and undercut its competitors on the tablet side of things. That being the case, and with the Galaxy Tab 7.7 sure to pack a high MSRP thanks to its Super AMOLED display, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the V66 come in around the $300-350 mark. Since the ZTE hardware is also Bluetooth-certified for Europe, it’s likely we’ll get some hands-on time with it in Barcelona next month at Mobile World Congress.

Bluetooth headphones are not the revolution we hoped they’d be way back in the early 2000s. Partly that’s because the A2DP streaming protocol only has so much bandwidth, but mostly it’s because the vast majority of Bluetooth headphones cost much more than most people are willing to spend. Fortunately, the last few years have seen some improvement on that, culminating in a new set of DJ-style over-the-ear cans from small accessory maker Tenqa. The “REMXD” Bluetooth Headphones come in at a wallet-friendly $39, and are scheduled to launch in early February.

The standard A2DP features are present, including integrated playback and volume controls. A microphone is hidden away somewhere inside the plastic casing, so you won’t have to remove the headphones to make or receive calls. A USB cable (hopefully with a standard MiniUSB or MocroUSB port) provides charging, and thanks to the large cups it should last for quite a while. Tenqa’s website claims that the REMXD headphones will go for 22.5 hours of talk time and 280 hours of standby on a 3.4 hour charge – that should mean about 15 hours of music-only streaming.

And the best part? You can plug in a standard headphone cord for good old-fashioned analog listening. This solves a lot of problems all at once: if you should forget your charger on a long trip, you can still connect to your Android phone or tablet; if you want to connect quickly to a non-Bluetooth device or just don’t want to mess with pairing, you can; if you’re in the mood for a more hi-fi experience, the wired connection provides higher-quality sound from the same set of headphones. The Tenqa REMXD Bluetooth Headphones should be arriving at retailers in the next few weeks.

Android gamers get it rough sometimes: since the early days of using WiiMotes and bulky add-ons to replicate a console experience, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play has been the only real solution for those who crave hardware controls. But the dearth of physical controls may be at an end, thanks to gaming accessory company SteelSeries. Known for their mice, mousepads and keyboards, the company is branching out into Android with its Ion Bluetooth controller. A few others have tried, but the Ion looks like the best option yet for serious gaming.

The diminutive hunk of plastic uses the same layout as the PlayStation Dual Shock, and should be familiar enough for anyone who’s played a console game in the last few years. Double joysticks, four face buttons, start, select and two shoulder buttons should be enough for almost everyone, though controlling games through OnLive may get a little tricky. The controller is sized to fit in a pocket. The mock-up in SteelSeries’ photo looks just a little smaller than a Galaxy Nexus. It appears that the controller recharges through the same MicroUSB port as most Android phones – a smart choice.

An Android app will allow players to customize controls for each game, and combined with Ice Cream Sandwich’s built-in support for controllers, should allow almost any button-based game to work. SteelSeries claims that the Ion’s Bluetooth interface makes it compatible with multiple platforms, including PCs. The company hasn’t offered a price yet, but it’s aiming for a second or third quarter 2012 release. Razer, the ball’s in your court.

Battery life is said to be between a day and a week, depend on how heavy your usage is. Control is via various gestures and swipes, and thanks to the watch being Android-based this time – unlike its LiveView predecessor – there should be more flexibility as to what functionality can be added along the line.

Sony expects the SmartWatch to go on sale near the end of Q1, priced at $149.99. It should work with non-Sony/Sony Ericsson devices too, and comes bundled with a clip and a wrist-strap for a choice of how you wear it.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen minimal Bluetooth functionality integrated into a conventional watch, but Casio’s G-Shock series is popular enough to make it notable. The addition of the low-power functions of Bluetooth 4.0 might make this one of the first wireless watches that you don’t have to charge on a regular basis – a definite improvement over some older, bulkier alternatives. The watch comes in three initial colors, but only wone market: you wont’ be seeing these outside of Japan any time soon.

It’s hard to be too upset about that, considering that they only work with two NEC phones at the moment. Apparently the expanded functionality requires a little extra client software on the smartphone side, and users will need a little savvy to get things started. But there’s a decent chance you’ll be able to buy these watches in non-Asian markets soon enough. Casio’s watch brand has a global presence after all, and they’re not ones to leave a market untapped.

One of the most consistent complaints against phones of all types, including Android superphones favored by most of our readers, is that they have to make due with tiny, weak speakers. That’s not anyone’s fault, really – devices that fit in your pocket with enough technology to make Ray Kurzweil drool have to make some sacrifices. But to rectify this situation, especially when you’re traveling or trying to share music with lots of people, an external speaker of some kind is almost a necessity. Enter Logitech’s Z515, a portable battery-powered Bluetooth speaker that intends to bring big sound in a small and easy-to-move package.

If you’re familiar with Logitech’s desktop speakers, or any of their more expensive products, the Z515 will seem familiar. A metal grate is surrounded by solid-feeling plastic and a hinged kickstand, with minimal controls on the back. For status indicators you get only a power and connection light. A USB receiver and software is also included, if you’d like to connect it to a computer without Bluetooth. The only other way to get sound into the speakers is via a standard 1/8th-inch next to the power jack, though unfortunately, the necessary cable is not included in the box. A simple cloth carrying case rounds out the package.

Upon first opening the Z515, I seriously wondered if Bluetooth connectivity was included at all. There’s no indication of Bluetooth compatibility anywhere on the box or the device itself – not even the trademark “B” rune near the FCC information, where you’d expect it to be. The packaging pronounces that it’s designed for “iPhone and iPad”, and it includes the obvious USB connector that tucks into a slot beneath the kickstand. Feeling somewhat ashamed, I actually broke out the instructions, where Bluetooth pairing was explained: power the device on, then hold the volume up and down buttons. After that, it became simple enough.

The speaker system itself is about the size of a rolled up newspaper, though nowhere near as heavy. It slips into its carrying case easily enough, though you probably won’t need it with the solid build. Throw it in your bag or a jacket pocket and you’re good to go. The sturdy kickstand and metal front leave me with no complaints, and at a full blast I’ve managed to get between 4 and 5 hours of performance. That should be plenty of time for a short roadtrip, and to find an AC outlet at a party.

There’s only three button controls: power, volume up and volume down. That’s well and good, but for a Bluetooth speaker system I would have liked to have seen some playback controls on the unit itself – it’s easy enough to implement via the A2DP protocol. I suppose the idea is that you’ll be carrying your phone or tablet with you for control, and on that count, the extremely reliable connection shines. I was able to walk with my phone to the back door of my home, about 40 feet away from the z515 through three different walls, without the music ever skipping or dropping. That’s easily one of the best A2DP connections I’ve ever seen.

The unit is loud, if not thunderously so. It’ll be more than enough to entertain a full room at a party or get together, but you’d be hard pressed to shake the neighbors’ windows. It managed to fill my living room well enough, which is as well as something this size could be expected to do.

The only real downside to the Z515 is Bluetooth sound quality. It’s good enough for MP3 playback, but audiophiles will be turned off by some shaky highs and fuzzy lows. That’s not really Logitech’s fault: Bluetooth A2DP just doesn’t have enough bandwidth for true hi-fi performance, and you won’t find anything better on other Bluetooth speakers, even something like the much more expensive Philips Fidelio AS851. I’d say it’s about as good as a solid satellite radio signal – it should be fine for Pandora or some medium bitrate MP3s, but anything better simply wouldn’t sound good enough on the Z515. Sure, you could use an audio cable, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a portable, wireless speaker.

As far as value goes, it depends on what you’re looking for. The $99 list price is more than I’d spend on the Z515 myself, but it’s comparable to other portable speaker systems of this quality. However, look around online and you can find the Logitech Z515 in the $75 range, a much more tempting proposition. If you often find yourself traveling and straining to hear music over your phone’s tiny speaker (and don’t want to fiddle with headphones), I’d say it’s a pretty solid investment. It’s certainly the best option among its competitors, with very reliable build quality and performance.

The ASUS Eee Pad MeMo tablet hasn’t received nearly as much publicity as the Transformer Prime, but now we know why. ASUS states the MeMo 7″ tablet will launch January 2012 with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on board. MeMo has been through different hardware and design stages as well, when it formerly appeared with a 3D capable display. They’ve since then scratched that, and will focus more on the paired functionality of the MeMic Bluetooth device to the actual tablet – after all, they do ship together.

The MeMic Bluetooth device can be seen as a wild card really. Not everyone may find it captivating, but it will definitely draw its own crowd. To be successful in todays tablet market that’s really what it takes. With the amount of tablets released monthly, only a few break the barrier to bring something new to the table.

Still no word on an actual price for the duo, but you can expect to see it first on carriers before local store shelves. Considering that ASUS spent so much time on the Transformer Prime, I expect them to do the same with this device as well. They’ll want to make sure Android 4.0 is functioning perfect prior to launch, thus reducing bugs and keeping the ASUS good name.

Paul O’Brien has whipped up a custom kernel for some of our international Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners that will now support keyboard, USB drive, and mouse bluetooth peripheral devices. The kernel is modded, but still very much based on the stock kernel source with a few of the dev’s “touches” here and there.

Be sure to only install this if your Galaxy Nexus is running the I9250XXKK1 / ITL41D ROM. And for now, the installation is not quite as easy as a .zip flash, so read up within the thread for specific instructions – they’re all there. Don’t expect overclocking or anything extraordinary this early in the game, as the device is still just hitting store shelves (and hasn’t even made it to the U.S. yet).

Whether this will work when the LTE version of the Galaxy Nexus appears on Verizon I do not know, but by then I’m sure we’ll have an updated kernel and even a few ROM’s floating around. For the access to the download, click here. And as always – read through the thread if you have any questions.

We are tablet fans around here and we particularly like to see early pics and details about tablets that haven’t yet hit the market. Such is the case today with a single pic offered up by the Bluetooth SIG. the pic is of the ZTE Smart Tab V55 that is destined to hit Sprint at some point. The details on the tablet are very scarce right now.

What we know is the tablet is a CDMA unit and that it has Bluetooth inside. That is all the detail that is offered. It appears that the tablet has the Honeycomb interface. We still have no idea what it under the hood the than those two bits of detail. I don’t expect this to be a high-end tablet, but you never know.

Would this tablet interest you at all? We don’t know yet when the tablet is going to launch or what it will cost when it does launch. This tablet has been though the FCC in the past so presumably it will be ready for launch soon.

We have an awesome new accessory for Android devices to tell you about today. A company called Spar has just announced three new Bluetooth speakers in a new line called Zephyr. They’ll be offering the Zephyr 550 (biggest of the bunch) with 30 hours of playback, the Zephyr 500 with 18 hours of playback, and the 300 offering 12 hours and all of this from a single charge. What makes these special you ask? The Zephyr will also charge your device via USB port when needed or while you’re on the go.

The Spar Zephyr looks very similar in both the size and shape to the popular Jawbone JAMBOX we reviewed at SlashGear. Also coming in a bit smaller than the recently reviewed Philips Fidelio Android dock but don’t let that fool you because Spar is claiming both “stunning acoustics” and “class-leading battery life”.

Basically rock out to all the music your heart desires and if you need to charge your Android phone, Galaxy Player, or even that iPod then all you need is a simple USB cord and the Spar Zephyr does the rest. The idea is actually quite excellent and I look forward to testing the sound quality, battery life, and the charging capabilities. The Zephyr 550 linked to above comes with the largest internal battery at 3,000 mAh, enough to play music for up to 30 hours of playback. Sadly that will only charge a portable device twice if your lucky. So while this sounds great, you wont be getting multiple charges here but the option to do so is quite convenient.

You can pre-order today starting at $99 at the source link below. The Zephyr should ship mid-December and hit retail locations come early next year. We’ll be sure and snag one for review if possible and bring you all the details. Enjoy the neat video provided below.

Little GPS gadgets have been a long-time fan for hikers, runners, and skiers, but it looks like Recon Instruments’ new MOD Live takes things to a higher elevation. The newest model of wearable computer pairs with your Android phone over Bluetooth to give you a live map of the area, share your run online, and access music and texts without reaching into your coat. The information is sent to a tiny screen that lives on the inside of your goggles.

This isn’t the first ski/snowboard computer that the company has produced, but it’s easily the coolest. The MOD Live gets all of its wireless goodness via the HQ Mobile app on Any Android phone. Liva statistics include your current speed, jump distance and airtime, overall run vertical, altitude, distance, and standard stopwatch features. Built-in navigation guides you to the nearest ski resort or the starting point for that new run you wanted to check out. You can even connect a sports cam to take live shot or – awesome - use it as a live rear-view camera. An upcoming SDK will allow third-party devs to create even more software to take advantage.

Check out the official video below:

A Bluetooth remote allows you to navigate through the on-screen menus, or just control music playback. The MOD Live costs $399 – not cheap, but this is some extremely specific tech here. A version of the wearable screen without Android connectivity will set you back $299, and goggles aren’t included in the purchase. But then, you’re going to pair them with your $500 Oakleys anyway, right?

Ever since the faithful old infrared port started disheartening from Palm Pilots, I’ve been wondering how one might replicate the functionality of the universal remote control programs that graced PalmOS. Today Android owners can get a simulacrum of that experience with the Griffin’s Beacon Universal Remote Control system, which will connect with Dijit Media’s remote app to control any home theater device with an IR remote. The $69.99 system is shipping from Griffin and major retailers now.

It works like this: the Beacon, an unassuming device about the size of a hockey puck, sits on your coffee table or near your entertainment system. The Beacon pairs with your Android phone or tablet via Bluetooth, and the Dijit app for Android (a free download in the Android Market) controls your TV, cable or satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray player, et cetera by sending commands through the infrared port on the Beacon. The Dijit app also features comprehensive TV listing and a full Honeycomb interface.

The idea isn’t exactly new, since Griffin’s had a similar device available for the iPhone for a while. But the Android version of the Beacon should work with just about any Android device, and for home theater junkies $69.99 is a fair price to pay for functionality that’s at least as good as one of Logitech’s Harmony remotes. This also makes the infrared port on the Vizio tablet somewhat obsolete, since universal remote capability can now be added to the tablet of your choice – Amazon Kindle Fire, anyone?

Samsung is at it again with another awesome and tiny bluetooth headset today. They’ve just announced nationwide availability of one of their newest and best headsets, the HM7000. With options to pair with their Android app, great battery life, and a sleek and fancy design this should make plenty of users happy. Plus, people living in cities like me that don’t allow use of cellphones while driving with no exceptions, this will really come in handy.

The new HM7000 has an all in one portable and practical charging and traveling solution shown in the image above. The charging cradle not only protects it during travel, but is extremely portable while also being lightweight and durable with chrome accents. The cradle then opens into the desktop dock for charging as it appears in the photos and closes shut for maximum protection when needed. Pretty fancy Samsung, I like it.

The new Samsung HM7000 is available now from Samsung and is also for sale nationwide at T-Mobile stores and online at T-Mobile.com as well as Radioshack starting next month. The HM7000 will retail for $99 but that includes the entire cradle and charging dock all in one solution. Samsung also offers their free Android app Freesync, that pairs nicely with all of their current bluetooth headsets to bring plenty of advanced options and more user features.

Shown above, FreeSync makes the headset more than just hands-free calling. You can set it to read emails, texts and more all with the advanced bluetooth capabilities offered. It has full voice command, prompt, and playback support and the text to speak options in the Android app are quite convenient also. Like most bluetooth headsets offered today we also have full music streaming via A2DP support. Again, the HM7000 is available now and starts at $99 from Samsung and T-Mobile with more retail options coming soon.

Ever since Dick Tracy started talking into his wrist, sci-fi aficionados have craved the watch-phone hybrid. And every few years, some company comes along to make on without really considering whether or not it’s a good idea. The latest is the i’m Watch [sic], and if buzzwords could be translated into direct sales, not even Apple would be able to stand against it.

The i’m Watch is a lot like an updated version of the old Fossil Palm watches: a full touchscreen Android device crammed down into the size of a large digital watch. Its 1.54-inch, 240 x 240 display uses a custom interface and apps to manage your calls and contacts, and the 450 mAh battery is rated for a single day of use, or five hours of constant use. Naturally the watch doesn’t conform to Google’s idea of an Android smartphone, so it’s using its own app store for software support. And here’s the kicker: the i’m Watch isn’t a really a phone. There’s no built-in voice or data connection – it needs to tether to an Android, Blackberry, iPhone or what have you via Bluetooth in order to do access anything that’s not already on its 4Gb of storage.

Check out the video below, and see how many buzzwords you can catch in four and a half minutes:

The Italian startup will begin selling the i’m Watch in January, starting at $300. And again, that doesn’t include any real connectivity – it won’t replace your current smartphone, because you have to have some method of connecting to the Internet to access calls and texts. Normally we try to shy away from declarative judgements for unreleased products, but my money’s going towards something a little cheaper and more substantial, like, say, the Sony Ericsson LiveView or the MotoACTV. Dick Tracy would be ashamed.

Well what do we have here? The FCC has outed yet another gadget bound for American shores, but this one’s of a decidedly more corporate flair. The HTC Conference Speaker popped up in the Commission’s database today with some scintillating details. The Bluetooth accessory can work with any mobile phone and should you have a matching set, it’ll work together.

The brushed aluminum Conference Speaker works a lot like the wired speaker phones you’ve seen adoring huge tables in soulless corporate meeting rooms: connect it to your Bluetooth phone and it’ll use multiple microphones and a large speaker to simulate a meeting. While a single Conference Speaker only supports mono audio, you can connect two at the same time to hear quarterly updates and TPS reports in stereo. Pressing the center button automatically pairs the speaker with any matching speakers in the immediate area.

The speaker lasts for ten hours on a charge, so unsightly cables won’t deface your expensive mahogany finish. If you use the Conference Speaker for music playback it’ll last you for eight hours. There’s no word on a price or release date, but expect it pretty soon, since accessories take a lot less wrangling to get into the public’s hands.

Today Plantronics has announced their newest Bluetooth mobile headset, the Marque M155. This is their smallest and lightest headset yet and plans to be your on-the-go best friend for mobile. Being one of the smartest headsets around it will allow users to talk and listen while continuing to tap, text, and swipe away on their Android-powered smartphones. You can find more details and some photos after the break.

The Marque M155 is Plantronics smallest headset ever. It offers exceptional sound quality (and blocking) while remaining extremely small and lightweight. The M155 weighs in at just 7 grams, it actually weighs less than most pens and pencils, making it feel almost as if you have nothing attached to your ear at all. Plus it’s so small you’ll probably forget you’re wearing it to begin with.

The Marque M155 also features voice guided pairing and setup with your favorite Android smartphones all hands-free. We also have stereo Bluetooth (A2DP standard), which allows you to listen to music, GPS directions or your email all with the headset. Plantronics has also gone one step further and integrated Vocalyst support. Vocalyst will act as your own personal assistant thanks to the Marque headset. You can send email or text messages, post to Facebook and Twitter, or check the weather— all completely and easily hands-free. To answer a phone call there is no button on the headset needing to be pressed, just simple say “answer” and it does the rest. I use Google Voice services a lot to send text messages and update my twitter, but if I could do it all hands-free that would be awesome. I’m excited to give this Plantronics headset a try on my Android smartphone.

The Marque M155 will be available in both Jet Black, and Artic White and will start at just $59.99. Pre-orders start today, September 29th, at Amazon.com and Plantronics.com and many other carriers and wireless stores available nationwide.

We’ve got a massive amount of news and rumors surrounding the upcoming Google hero phone made by Samsung, the following bit of content falling in the first category. What we’ve got here is a Bluetooth certification for device GT-I9250, one thus far tied only to the name Nexus Prime. Samsung has quite the firestorm started here around what we’re expecting will be the hero device for Android Ice Cream Sandwich, each news bit adding to what must soon be a legendary device indeed.

We’ve got news that this device has already been hanging out at Verizon, that a Samsung roadmap has already leaked the launch date for the device as well as Ice Cream Sandwich – two more confirmations coming about a week later. It’s not difficult to see why this device would garner such massive interest as each Google hero device (the Nexus S being the last) have been not only massively popular devices, they’ve turned out to be rather well made and long-lasting devices as well.

To see everything we’ve got on the matter, check out the Nexus Prime portal and get severely educated. It’s not every day we have a phone gain such attention before its release unless it’s got a stacked set of specs, and given that this device has no real solid specs released at all at this moment, we’ve gotta keep our eyes open. Will you be amongst those running to the stores on release day?

Today Jawbone has released an update to the popular Bluetooth speaker system called the JAMBOX. Reviewed extensively over at our sister site SlashGear the JAMBOX brings great audio fidelity to your mobile devices, including Android. Connecting via Bluetooth this makes your Android enabled smartphone a full out audio experience and they’ve now updated the JAMBOX to version 2.1 bringing a few changes and sound improvements.

First off here is a quick look of the Jawbone JAMBOX thanks to our original review shown in the video below. This explains just how this awesome Bluetooth speaker set works, and what makes it so special. This version of the JAMBOX software adds functionality to two areas — Sound Clarity and LiveAudio.

Jawbone JAMBOX Explained

This may not be directly related to Android but for those that have used or heard the JAMBOX, they know how awesome it sounds and are probably excited to receive yet another update to make this product even better. If you head over to jawbone.com/liveaudio and hit download — this will sync your JAMBOX to mytalk.com and get the update rolling. The main two features being added here are Live Audio, and Sound Clarity. Both options that the user will be able to choose should he decide to tweak the audio bliss that comes from this device.

Sound Clarity will deliver you clearer distortion-free sound when LiveAudio is OFF, but requires you to change this option in MYTALK. You also have Live Audio, this will keep the overall sound limit lower and keeps the device from reaching extremely high audio levels and causing distortion. You can choose to use either of these settings, or none should the user prefer. Both of these options will remain OFF after completing the new update to JAMBOX version 2.1 and not interfere with current sound setup and options. For more details on the Bluetooth speaker solution the Jawbone JAMBOX you can click here, and again the details for the 2.1 update can be found at www.jawbone.com/liveaudio

Now go buy a JAMBOX so you can enjoy audio bliss anywhere you go with your Android smartphone.

After years of waiting it appears Sony will finally be launching a full line of in-dash car audio receivers that will sync with all of our favorite Android devices. Sony and Pandora Radio have partnered up to bring car stereos with Pandora Internet Radio support to Android, iOS, and even those Blackberry phones. While playing music from our favorite devices might be nothing new to in-car stereo’s doing it all wireless and with Pandora is — sort of.

The digital music service can now be accessed through four of Sony’s latest connected car stereos — the DSX-S210X, DSX-S310BTX, and even the SiriusXM compatible CDX-GT660UP and CDX-GT565UP models. The higher DSX units connect to Pandora via the smartphone application and an integrated “tune tray” with easy navigation while the other models have to go old school and use USB. Sadly only the bluetooth models will work with Android for now but this is nothing new.

Don’t forget we still have pretty great music on that one thing if you remember, called the FM radio (or AM radio for the oldies). While this new line-up from Sony is a nice change of pace and something I’ve been waiting to see for a while it wont really help many users like myself. I’ve been using Bluetooth to sync to my car stereo and stream music in my Chevy truck for like 4 years now. With Pandora Radio, Google Music and my new personal favorite Spotify, I’ve been wirelessly listening to all the music my heart desires while on-the-go over bluetooth with all of the recent Android phones I’ve owned, you just need a bluetooth enabled stereo and their is plenty of those on the market.

When I can wirelessly stream YouTube and Netflix from my Android phone to the 7″ TV in my truck, then I’ll be excited.
