SwiftKey beta update adds Evernote and Google+ personalization

We aren't necessarily convinced every SwiftKey user needs to be playing in the beta channel, though these series of updates are interesting to watch as they offer hints in terms of upcoming features. Having said that, the folks at SwiftKey have recently rolled out the latest beta release -- which brings some integration with Google+ and Evernote.

New app ‘Meet Me Halfway’ finds your happy medium

When meeting up with a friend or colleague, it can be tough figuring out a place to go. Neither of you wants/needs to travel the entire distance to the other person’s location, so where do you go? Unless you’re overly familiar with the area, or like staring at Google Maps, you’re lost. A new app, the aptly named Meet Me Halfway, does the grunt work for you.

SwiftKey 4.5 beta update improves emoji experience

SwiftKey v4.5 was first introduced back in December. That update was released as a beta, but perhaps more important -- it was one that added support for emoji. Also included in that update was an optional number row. While the beta releases are made available for all, they do have to be sideloaded, which means the update process is not as automatic as compared to the Play Store experience.
