New app ‘Meet Me Halfway’ finds your happy medium

When meeting up with a friend or colleague, it can be tough figuring out a place to go. Neither of you wants/needs to travel the entire distance to the other person’s location, so where do you go? Unless you’re overly familiar with the area, or like staring at Google Maps, you’re lost. A new app, the aptly named Meet Me Halfway, does the grunt work for you.

SwiftKey 4.5 beta update improves emoji experience

SwiftKey v4.5 was first introduced back in December. That update was released as a beta, but perhaps more important -- it was one that added support for emoji. Also included in that update was an optional number row. While the beta releases are made available for all, they do have to be sideloaded, which means the update process is not as automatic as compared to the Play Store experience.

Koush’ unveils Mirror for mirroring Android to Apple TV

Koushik "Koush" Dutta has indeed been very busy with his pet Android projects, particularly those that involve pushing screens around. Now the developer, who is also working on CyanogenMod and ClockworkMod Recovery among other things, has just announced a beta version of his Mirror app for Android that will let users push their Android screens to their Apple TVs.
