Galaxy S III cover, dock and stylus get fondled on video
Just like all of its recent releases, Samsung is blessing the Galaxy S III with a bevy of accessories. UK retailer MobileFun got a hold of the flip cover, stand and spare battery charger and the official S-Pen for the new model. They don't actually have the phone themselves and the accessories aren't up for sale yet - they'll probably have to wait for the May 30th release date for that. At least some of these should be coming to other markets including North America.

DROID Incredible 4G LTE extended battery for sale online

DROID Incredible 4G LTE extended battery for sale online
If you needed any extra proof that HTC's DROID Incredible 4G LTE was on the way, well then, you've probably got some kind of trust issues. Nevertheless, here it is: HTCPEdia's online shop seems to have jumped the gun and begun selling the Incredible 4G's extended battery and battery cover, without a phone for them to fit in. While there's little doubt that the DROID Incredible 4G LTE is coming, we still don't know exactly when it'll hit Verizon or for how much. The extended battery beefs up the capacity to 2150mAh, a boost of about 400mAh from its rumored stock battery. That's just a little more juice than Samsung's official extended battery for the Galaxy Nexus LTE. Interestingly, the $34.99 battery and $19.99 cover are sold separately, bringing the total cost up to $55 for the set. On the plus side, this will allow customers to buy multiple extended batteries at a lower cost without having superfluous covers sitting around collecting dust. At this point there isn't much we don't know about the DROID Incredible 4G LTE's hardware: it shares a lot of design DNA with the HTC One S, shrinking the QHD display down to 4.0 inches and swapping out the metal chassis for a plastic case. It drops the storage capacity to 8GB but inserts an SD card slot to make up for it. Ice Cream Sandwich, Sense 4.0, an 8-megapixel camera and a Snapdragon S4 processor make the jump. If that May 10th date is anything to go by, we should see a retail phone in a couple of weeks. [timeline] [via DroidDog]

HTC canceled bigger battery plans for thinner phones
Would you rather have a larger phone with a bigger battery that lasts forever? Or a thin, sleek and sexy phone? This was HTC's question and apparently they decided to shelf the bigger battery plans to compete with the DROID RAZR MAXX and opted for a mild upgrade to the battery. This will enabled them to produce the thin and awesome phones like what we are seeing today in the HTC One X and One S.

The one thing I want from the Galaxy S III
Working for an Android blog has lately meant looking forward to a single device: the Samsung Galaxy S III. Samsung has gone to extraordinary measures to keep its design and features secret, and as a result we've got almost nothing beyond rumors and speculation to go on. But since the Galaxy line has done phenomenally so far, we can't help but have expectations - after all, odds are pretty good that no matter what Samsung reveals on May 3rd, it'll wind up in the pockets of tens of millions of Android users all over the world.
