Toshiba reveals Lytro-style refocus camera for smartphones

New details have surfaced today that the folks from Toshiba are working on an impressive Lytro-like mini camera module for smartphones and tablets. If you're asking yourself what Lytro is, you should check this out. Essentially you'll be able to refocus and perfect parts of a photo well after you've snapped the image. the Lytro camera was rather large, so getting this into a smartphone would be quite the task. T-Mobile’s Galaxy S Passes through the FCC

Although we’ve heard that the Galaxy S was headed to every major carrier in the US, it seems T-Mobile might be the first out the gate with their version. It has just passed through the FCC and it could (highly unlikely) make it way to Magenta in time for the free phone promotion this Saturday.

While we wait for our first Acer Android Device our friends in Canada now have the Liquid E. this is second handset in Acer’s Liquid series and it looks almost identical its predecessor. There has been a few welcome additions, first of which is the Snapdragon processor. Like the original Liquid, the Liquid E CPU is also under clocked to 768, so you dont get to enjoy the full befits of the 1GHZ clock speed.

South Korea will have another Android 2.0 device soon. The Motorola Titanium, which looks similar to other Motorola devices like the Cliq and Cliq XT, is also known as the XT800. There will be two different versions of this handset available.
