AT&T Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 update arrives tomorrow
It looks like we have another Galaxy Note getting upgraded to Android 4.1.2. Earlier in the day we saw details about the Verizon branded Galaxy Note II update and now we have details of the AT&T branded Galaxy Note (i717). The AT&T Galaxy Note update will be available beginning on May 3, 2013, however those looking for the update should know that it will not be coming over-the-air.

EFF report slams Verizon and AT&T over user data protection
A popular Digital Rights Advocacy group called the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is back this year and have released their annual report card. It's called "Who has your back" regarding companies who protect their users - and their data - from the prying eyes of the government. Surprisingly, Verizon scores dead last and didn't receive a single star, while AT&T only had 1 out of 5 themselves. It's not looking good for wireless carriers.

Well, that was fast. Thanks to those awesome developers we all love, the AT&T GALAXY S 4 bootloader has been hacked already. It was reported yesterday that the device was locked down tight, which was bad news and something Samsung usually doesn't do, but now it has already been exploited.

AT&T LG Optimus G Pro confirmed with pre-orders beginning Friday
With an expectation that AT&T would be launching the LG Optimus G Pro sometime in May, the carrier has since come forward with an official announcement. In short, AT&T will be releasing the Optimus G Pro on May 10 and they will have pre-orders available this coming Friday. For those looking for the date, the pre-orders will begin on May 3. Otherwise, aside from the price, the specs should sound familiar to those who have been following the earlier rumors.

AT&T has announced details of their latest device trade-in program. This one is set to kick off on May 1st and is promising that users will get "at least" $100 off the purchase of a new smartphone. Basically, depending on the price of the handset you are buying, this could mean anything from a deep discount to free.

We have seen plenty of 4G LTE expansion news coming from AT&T lately. We have seen several announcements this month alone and as of today we have word of expanded coverage across ten states. This latest LTE expansion includes coverage for those in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Washington.

It's GALAXY S 4 time in the USA. Today marks the first day users can walk into a retail store and head home with the impressive new flagship 5-inch full HD smartphone from Samsung Mobile and AT&T. Their GALAXY S 4 went up for pre-order earlier this month, and started shipping a few days ago to those who've ordered. However, now it is in stores and available as we speak.

AT&T Digital Life home automation system launches in select markets
AT&T has officially launched their Digital Life home management and automation system today. This initial launch will bring support for select markets and with features that touch on everything from security to remote access. The Digital Life setup will allow users to do things such as remotely unlock a door, turn on a light and adjust the thermostat from their Android running smartphone or tablet.
