Group asks the FCC to limit Verizon and AT&T’s options in upcoming spectrum auction

AT&T Next shortens upgrade requirement to 6 months

Carriers seem to be scrambling to let their subscribers switch to a new device or a new plan as soon as possible in an effort to keep them from considering the competition. The latest to do so is AT&T who is now offering existing subscribers the option to upgrade to a new device after just 6 months.

LG G Flex available for pre-order from AT&T later this month

AT&T has announced the LG G Flex is coming soon. For those interested in the curved smartphone, it will be available for pre-order on January 24th. We have the option of ordering in-store or online, and the pricing is as expected at $299.99 with a two year agreement. Gladly, this fulfills an LG promise that we'd see the device stateside in Q1 2014.
