Motorola further details Jelly Bean plans, Atrix HD next on list

Ever since Motorola announced that it plans to update a lot of its more recent devices to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, many customers have been waiting for patiently for their upgrade to arrive. Some handsets, such as the DROID RAZR M, the DROID RAZR HD, and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD have already received or are in the process of receiving their updates, but there are plenty more handsets left to upgrade. Motorola has updated its list of devices getting Jelly Bean upgrades, covering most major regions of the world like the US, Canada, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America.

Motorola recently launched their new Atrix HD smartphone on AT&T here in the US, but we aren't the only ones enjoying a new impressive phone from Moto. If you're up in Canada and feel like dropping a quick $50 on a new smartphone Bell has you covered. Announcing the Atrix HD LTE is available now starting at $49, only with a new 3-year contract.

Motorola backtracks, no new phone coming Friday

The little game Motorola started yesterday appears to be going south already. After announcing a mystery 4G LTE smartphone would be unveiled on Friday, they've now backtracked on that to clarify that it won't be a "new" phone, but they will unveil something after all the clues are figured out. So those expecting to see a new device, sorry for the bad news.
