ASUS PadFone Mini gets real, debuts in Taiwan

In the tradition of offering less powerful, and hopefully less expensive, versions of a hit product, ASUS has unveiled the ASUS PadFone Mini in Taiwan. So far, all the rumored specs have panned out, making this unique device somewhat of a disappointment but, at the same time, probably a more affordable alternative to those who want such a hybrid device.

ASUS PadFone E T008 pops up at Bluetooth SIG

Those who have been quite taken by ASUS' curious PadFone device line might have their attention set on the upcoming PadFone Mini reveal. It seems, though, that ASUS has another member of the family hiding behind the curtains. Making its way through Bluetooth certification is a rather strange PadFone E that seems to fill a gap between the PadFone Infinity and the PadFone Mini.

ASUS Chromebooks expected early next year

Google had said we would be seeing Chromebooks from multiple device manufactures over the coming months. At the time the manufacturer list included Acer and HP as well as ASUS and Toshiba. We have already seen some recent models from Acer and HP, and while Toshiba has been quiet, it looks like ASUS has something planned for early next year.
