Asus teases new hi-resolution Transformer tablet for MWC
We're at t-minus three days until the festivities start in Barcelona, and Asus isn't letting the likes of HTC and LG have all the premature fun. In a new video posted to YouTube, the company teased a high-resolution tablet with an abstract, 17-second commercial before Mobile World Congress. There's no hardware on display (a drawer with colored balls stands in for a Honeycomb/ICS home screen) but the teaser "twice the detail, twice the fun" leaves little room for doubt. Presumably, AsusĀ is talking about a tablet with more than the standard resolution - i.e., more than 1280x800.

ASUS UK extends warranty on Transformer Prime, new 700 series coming this June
After all the hype and excitement around the Transformer Prime its a little depressing to see all these different issues starting to appear. After we received our first hands-on with the Tegra 3 powered device it has seen issues regarding WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connections -- not to mention being out of stock almost everywhere and impossible to buy. The update to Android 4.0 ICS has gone relatively smooth other than a few issues, and now they've announced a newer and better Transformer Prime 700 series.

Just when we all were happy that the ASUS Transformer Prime was finally starting to reach our doorsteps and resellers were getting stock ASUS goes and announces another one -- but I'm not complaining. This is the Transformer Prime 1920 x 1200 display full 1080p version and they are calling it the ASUS Transformer 700 series.
