Asus MeMO Pad announced with 7″ display and priced from $149
Asus has officially announced their budget-priced tablet, which has been unveiled as the MeMO Pad. The MeMO Pad is a 7-inch tablet and instead of landing as the once-rumored $99 Android tablet, will arrive priced from $149. The MeMO Pad is set to be available later this month, but lets get into those specs and see if this is even worthy of consideration.

ASUS Eee Pad MeMO ME171 on sale in Taiwan
Remember the Eee Pad MeMO ME 171? You know, ASUS' 7-inch stylus-equipped device, which was spotted over a year ago and mysteriously popped up again at CES? Well, that little guy is finally on sale in ASUS' home territory of Taiwan. Netbook News picked one up for the price of 17,500 New Taiwan Dollars, or $585 US, and apparently the 7-inch slate has been given no press fanfare - it's just sitting in Taiwanese electronics retailers, waiting for unsuspecting consumers to pick one up. What gives? Android fans, take note: this is a different device than the much-anticipated MeMO 370T, which is still in tablet limbo somewhere.

ASUS Eee Pad 7-inch tablet official, quad-core and ICS for only $249
Live at the NVIDIA CES 2012 Press Event today we saw plenty of the ASUS Transformer Prime, and also a newbie to the market that as far as we know will be called the ASUS Eee Pad MeMO. Not only is the Prime the first official (as in Google Official) Ice Cream Sandwich tablet, but ASUS will also have the first 7" ICS tablet too.
