Archos offers a pre-IFA sneak peek

Archos had already talked about plans to unveil several new devices in the remainder of the year and it looks like IFA is going to be the place that will be happening. Basically, it looks like Archos is giving a sneak peek as to what they will be showing during IFA. Coming by way of a recently issued press release, Archos has offered some details on how they plan to use their Android "expertise" to build upon their 3G connected product lines.

Archos GamePad 2 spotted in FCC filing

The Archos GamePad launched for those in the US back in March and it looks like the follow-up device is already in the works. The device is called the Archos GamePad 2 and currently sporting a model number of A70GP2. We have yet to hear anything direct from Archos, but judging from the FCC filing where the GamePad 2 was discovered -- it looks like it may be several months before anything official is announced.

Archos Elements tablet line expands with the 8-inch 80 Xenon

Archos has announced the latest addition in their Elements line of tablets. The new model is the Archos 80 Xenon and it will be arriving with an 8-inch display and Jelly Bean. This particular model will not be available for a few weeks time, but Archos has released a full set of specs along with some pricing.

Archos ChefPad emerges for all the Rachael Ray fans

If you want a tablet to be your cooking companion while looking through recipes or watching Rachael Ray for cooking tips, Archos has you covered, apparently. Arnova G4 tablet unveiled with 9.7-inch display and Jelly Bean

The first of the 4th generation Arnova tablets have been unveiled and while we have yet to see all the specifics, the company has offered up a full set of specs for the tablet. We are expecting to see multiple devices in the Arnova G4 lineup, but for now there is only details on the Arnova 97 G4. As the name would imply, this one will arrive sporting a 9.7-inch display.

Archos Platinum and Carbon smartphones officially announced

Putting an end to the rumors, Archos has officially announced their line of smartphones. There are three models in total and they are being touted as being affordable and unlocked. Pricing will begin at 79.99€ ($99.99) and these handsets are expecting to arrive in May. At this point Archos has mentioned the initial availability will be for those in Europe.

Archos GamePad now available in the US

Despite an availability that was originally expected for February, the Archos GamePad is now available for those in the US. The Android running handheld game system is available by way of several retailers and has arrived at an expected price. The GamePad can be found with Amazon and for those looking for alternatives, it is also listed on Google Shopper.
