Archos has announced the latest addition in their Elements line of tablets. The new model is the Archos 80 Xenon and it will be arriving with an 8-inch display and Jelly Bean. This particular model will not be available for a few weeks time, but Archos has released a full set of specs along with some pricing.

In this case we are referring to the Archos 80 Titanium which will bring an 8-inch IPS display and options for either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage space. The catch here, the 16GB model will be sold exclusively with Carphone Warehouse.
Archos finally unveiled their new G10 XS line of Android tablets starting with the Archos 101 XS. What makes these new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablets different from the rest is the included keyboard and protective cover they're calling a coverboard. During the noise this morning they also detailed two more coming soon.
Archos G9 tablets have only been on the market a short period and they are already receiving a few firmware updates from Archos. It's nice to see them working so quickly to bring updates to their tablets and we can only hope the same applies for Ice Cream Sandwich. The Archos 80 G9 went on sale last month and received its first OTA firmware update early this month. Today Archos informed us another just 14 days later is available now for download.
Archos G9 series tablets haven't been out long, but as usual the developer community is already working hard at figuring out the goods and bringing a root method for all. The popular @PaulOBrien has been hard at work with the new Archos 80 G9 Honeycomb tablet and has finally achieved root access. He does however mention that it was not an easy task and it is still a work in progress before any sort of details and instructions will be released. Progress is progress though right?
