Vodio, the video searching application that merges Youtube, video news results, and other services such as DailyMotion together in one vast detailed list of results based on search subjects, has finally made its way over to Android. The folks from Facebook have apparently been having a pretty good month if recently released numbers are accurate, but changes are still coming to Facebook Home. Today they revealed more than 1 million users downloaded Home, and those who still enjoy it use Facebook 25% more. After many complaints however changes are coming, and Facebook is giving us back our standard Android icon dock we all love, and need.

One of the most popular app stores to purchase applications for Android devices aside from Google Play is the Amazon Appstore. Amazon has announced that it is expanding its Appstore availability significantly all around the world. There is no specific indication of exactly when other countries will get access to Amazon's Appstore.

Flurry: Game play accounts for 32% of app usage

The latest Flurry report has recently been published. This one is actually arriving as a five-year report, however more important is the focus -- on apps. The obvious is here in that mobile apps have come a long way in five years. At present though, mobile app usage on a smartphone or tablet now accounts for a little more than two hours per day.

InMobi App Publish app distribution platform launches

InMobi is a mobile advertising network that has been around for a while and the company has announced the launch of a new Android application distribution platform. The distribution platform is called App Publish and the distribution platform will supply apps to a number of different app stores around the world. The platform will offer free, paid, and premium applications.
