SoundCloud is a great platform to upload all of your audio creations to, and a lot of people use it to publish their own music and podcasts for the world to listen in on and hopefully gain some popularity. A big chunk of their user base enjoys using the service's mobile app, and it updated today with some pretty cool new features.

Shopping around for a used car can be a huge pain, and sometimes it's nice to have a mobile app on hand in case you're out and about looking for a good deal. Auto Trader is one of the UK's most popular services to find used vehicles. It's also pretty popular in the US, but the UK Android app updated today with some pretty cool new features.

Twitter for Android adds new profiles, photo streams

Despite the recent shake-up with Twitter limiting third-party clients, the social network is still working on improving their user interface to make it more user-friendly and easier on the eyes. Today they've made some significant changes to their web interface, specifically with profile pages. Users can now upload a large header photo to compliment the top of their profile page. The best part of all is that Android users can now join in on the fun.

Pocket for Android adds text-to-speech

Sometimes, we all get super lazy and just want somebody to read things to us. Other times, our eyes are so burned out that we can't stand to look at another sentence or we're just too busy to focus on reading something that we have to listen to it while we're working. Either way, the popular bookmarking and read-it-later app Pocket (formerly Read It Later) updated its Android app today with a new "Listen" feature that reads aloud articles to you.

FBI seizes three Android App piracy websites

Whoa, this news came out of nowhere. This morning the Department of Justice and the FBI have confirmed that they have seized three Android App pirating websites. These are well known pirate websites that are taking away the hard earned dollar of our developers. Sites listed today include: applanet.net, appbucket.net and snappzmarket.com and this is only the start.

NFL 2012 Preseason Live app for tablets only $20

Who loves Football? For those not in the US I'm talking about the NFL. Preseason is off to a great start. The regular season is almost here and although we love Android, many also love NFL just as we do. For those interesting in following their teams progress and pre-season you can watch every single game live, or on demand with the official NFL app, but it'll cost ya.

ESPN Fantasy Football app ready for 2012

Football season is officially here, and ESPN was quick to the draw and have already updated their popular app for all those preparing for the NFL Fantasy season. I've watched Soccer, Olympics and more, but I'm so ready for NFL to start. With pre-season here ESPN has just updated their Fantasy app.

Verizon faces $1.25m fine for blocking third-party tethering apps

Verizon is being forced by the FCC to pay a fine for apparently blocking their users from accessing third-party tethering apps. As is the case with most of these FCC fines, the $1.25 million settlement amount is chump change to a company as huge as Verizon, but it's more about the message the FCC sends to companies than it is about the money. Verizon will also be forced to train its employees on proper C Block procedure, which it is accused of breaking by blocking third-party tethering apps.
