Here at Android Community we love 3rd party keyboards and Swiftkey X is right at the top of our list. We've constantly recommended this as one of the best apps for Android phones and tablets. Today they've pushed their latest update to improve upon the recently released v2.2 and they've added tons of improvements and bug fixes -- Especially for the Droid Bionic.

Touch for Android Application Review

There have been many messaging applications hitting the Android Market lately, but Touch by Enflick Inc. aims to remove the boundaries of one dedicated OS and offer their software to everyone. It had evolved from its former application PingChat! and taken its previous users with them. If you haven’t converted already, simply install Touch and log in with your previous PingChat! credentials. Like the Facebook Messenger standalone application, Touch is practically instant, is data driven, and even tells you when a friend is typing to you. Other than having an extremely smooth interface, Touch really makes multiple conversations a joy to navigate through.

ScreenCast App Review, Screen Recorder for Android

Today I found a new application for Android that looked pretty awesome, it's called Screen Cast. This is a screen capture and screen recording application for Android smartphones and tablets. Obviously something like this will require root access, but that is to be expected. In the market now by Media Solutions they have both a free version to test the app and try all of the features, as well as a paid version for $2.99 for those wanting to record for a bit longer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and more outed by Samsung Unpacked App

It looks like a few prying eyes were digging around in the new Samsung Unpacked Android App and found some goodies. From what we are seeing Samsung has either on purpose or inadvertently unveiled three of their upcoming products they are announcing at the Unpacked Event. We are seeing the name Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and that gets me a little excited. a 7.7" Android Honeycomb Tab would be awesome.

ESPN Fantasy Football App for Android Now Available

Just in time for the NFL season to get started ESPN has released their Fantasy Football 2011 App for Android. This is the perfect app for fantasy owners allowing you to manage your team on-the-go wherever you are. Recently the official NFL app was released and now just a few days later ESPN launches their own. I'll be sure to give them both a try over the next few days and let you all know what app I like best. I have fantasy teams on both sites so I'll be using them both all season most likely.

This week they are offering the popular music tagging service SoundHound Infinity for only $1.99 instead of the usual $4.99 price tag. The blazing fast music recognition capabilities of SoundHound make it a must have application and ever since I got it free from Amazon I've never used Shazam.

Gmail App Inverted with a Black Color Theme

In the world of Android we all love tweaking and hacking our devices so I figured I'd share this quick little theme with our readers. What we have here is another blacked out app theme but this time it's for Gmail. What we have is the latest version 2.3.5 Gmail that has been inverted to be completely black and fits in nicely with the rest of Android, not to mention could help with battery life.

Facebook Messenger App for Android Review [Hands-On]

Today Facebook announced the new Messenger App for Android and iOS. This is a stand alone application that will allow users to send instant and private messages on the go from their mobile device. As of late, Facebook has combined your regular messages with the IM’s you receive on their site into the same category, so it makes complete sense to blend all your messages into a single app. Today we've installed it for Android and are giving it a little spin, see what we think after the break.
