Fleksy update brings emoji and “My Fleksy” personalization

The Fleksy Keyboard app has recently been updated. This latest is currently available from the Play Store, and will bring the keyboard up to version 1.2.3. Perhaps key here, the changes that come along with the new version number. This time around there is emoji and something called My Fleksy.

SwiftKey 4.5 beta update improves emoji experience

SwiftKey v4.5 was first introduced back in December. That update was released as a beta, but perhaps more important -- it was one that added support for emoji. Also included in that update was an optional number row. While the beta releases are made available for all, they do have to be sideloaded, which means the update process is not as automatic as compared to the Play Store experience.

DROID Zap update brings image send support to all Android devices

Motorola has updated the DROID Zap app, and this time those using the app will notice a new feature. Perhaps more important though, Motorola has opened things up and the app will now work with quite a few additional devices. Simply put, the app will no longer be limited to those with a Motorola DROID branding, though, some features will be device specific.

Talon for Twitter reaches major 1.3.0 milestone

Barely a month after landing its apps on Android, developer Klinker Apps has just announced version 1.3 of its Talon for Twitter app. Though the time period has been relatively short, this update boasts of quite a few useful new features and improvements already.

NBC Olympics Highlights app updated for 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics

NBC Universal has recently updated the app that will allow you to stay current with the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games -- even if you are not able to be sitting in front of your television. The app is called NBC Olympics Highlights and currently available by way of the Google Play Store. The app is available for free, but unfortunately does have some drawbacks.
