Vine app may not have been perfect at launch. In fact, the app launched to quite a bit of criticism for missing features. But that being said, the app has been steadily improving with a stream of updates. And well, it looks like another update has arrived in the Play Store -- this time with a focus on editing.

That said, the app does have an audience and ever since Betaworks purchased Instapaper and updated the web and iOS versions -- we had been on the lookout for a similar Android update. Well, that time has come.
Hangouts on iOS late last week. This one arrived Friday evening and it added voice calling with Google Voice integration. Basically, iOS users can now send and receive Google Voice calls through the Hangouts app. And topping that, this all works over WiFi. But while this news seems to have upset plenty of Android users, there will be an update coming.

While all this sounds like a solid update, there is a disappointing aspect as it has only arrived for those with an iOS device. Yes, Google has rolled this one out only for those sporting an iDevice.
Rovio game releases, Angry Birds captures the most attention. But we do have to remember they have other titles available. Rovio has Tiny Thief and Amazing Alex, not to mention Bad Piggies, which was just updated today. As one may suspect given the time of year, this latest Bad Piggies update is halloween themed.
Play Music app update. This latest update is hitting the Play Store at this time and will have the app going up to version 5.2.1233L. The changelog for the update is on the shorter side, however Google has added what we think will be a welcomed feature.
Outlook.com app has recently landed in the Play Store. This update brings a selection of new features and functionality that touches on search, your email archive, vacation auto-responders and aliases. Not to mention, this update also brings a bit of color. While not full-on themes, once updated you will be able to choose from a variety of colors to personalize the look a bit.
Twitter apps for Android users. Most seem to have their personal favorite, but regardless of how well an app runs, or how nice it looks, the lack of certain features will end up being a turn off for some. With that in mind, the folks at Plume have released the v5.4 update which brings a notable new feature.
