Qualcomm unleashes Snapdragon SDK for Android

Today at Qualcomm's annual developer event they've just announced a brand new addition to the world of Android developers. Just like Qualcomm's exclusive Snapdragon GamesCommand app store, or NVIDIA's for that matter, they've today released the Snapdragon SDK to help developers dive further into the S4 platform and beyond.

HTC will open Beats Audio API to all developers

As far as owners/investors go, HTC is proving itself to be a very gracious one. The company invested a whopping $300 million into the Beats by Dr. Dre brand, giving it majority control of the hardware and software produced. HTC promised to run the company as a separate enterprise while taking advantage of its audio expertise, and lo and behold, it has. HTC announced today that it intends to open up the Beats APIs for third-party developers to use in their apps.

Wahoo Fitness offers new ANT+ API for Android

Wahoo Fitness has been making some interesting accessories for the iPhone for a while now that allows the iPhone to interface with ANT+ fitness sensors to track a person's vital stats during a workout. The company has announced that it has unveiled a new API that allows Android devices to work with ANT+ accessories.
