Samsung to reveal “The Next Galaxy” on May 3
After months and months of speculation, to say nothing of a truly unprecedented amount of rumor and fakery, Samsung has finally set an announcement date for what will almost certainly be the Galaxy S III. The Samsung-only event will be held in London on Thursday, May 3rd, fulfilling their commitment to announce the Galaxy S II's successor outside of the usual trade show venues like Mobile World Congress. Naturally there's no other official details to be had at the moment, but the event is being christened "Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012", setting up months before last year's October event.

Galaxy S III rumors run wild – reports claim announcement coming Thursday
Here is another announcement we can surely throw in the rumor bin almost instantly. While the Samsung Galaxy S III has been a hot topic as of late, with plenty of rumors and leaks, we are now hearing some more chatter that Samsung might unveil it during their annual Samsung Africa Forum show at the end of this week after all. Possibly on Thursday or Friday. Do notice this is the same March 22nd event we've heard will NOT be the big unveiling.

With most of the tech media frothing over the high-resolution screen on the new iPad, Android fans can't help but wonder what happened to the mythical Galaxy Tab 11.6. The rumored Samsung tablet has a supposed resolution of 2650x1600, a standard more often seen on 30-inch monitors (and, of course, soundly beating the new iPad by about a million pixels). We were somewhat surprised that the 11.6 didn't show up at Mobile World Congress, but Pocket-Lint claims that Samsung will reveal it in a press conference on Friday, just two days after the Apple smorgasbord.

Angry Birds Space official announcement coming March 8
Who's ready for more Angry Birds? In case you missed it a few weeks ago we uncovered some teaser videos showing that Angry Birds Space is coming March 22nd. The second teaser video wasn't revealed until just recently and hints that it may launch with the Galaxy Note's next update. Now teaser #3 has confirmed the official announcement will be March 8th -- and probably just in time for that iPad 3 launch.

Google TV big announcements coming today, could just be YouTube update
Over the weekend Google made some noise about an upcoming announcement for Google TV. Over on their official Facebook page they mentioned some "big announcements" coming today. Google told us to get ready for Monday so that is exactly what we've done. We'll be sure to update as soon as anything "big" drops, but we are now seeing an update on the Google TV Blog from late last night simply outlining a new YouTube app.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones arriving in stores, rumors still suggest December 9th
Here we go guys, Verizon is finally starting to maybe get ready to make some noise with the Galaxy Nexus. For all those awaiting its arrival the time may finally be coming. We are now seeing actual hardware devices and retail packaging for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus arriving in Verizon Wireless retail stores thanks to a tip from XDA Developers. Hopefully I can convince the pretty blonde at my local Verizon store to sell me one early -- I'll be taking flowers with me later today for good measure.

Google Music “These Go to Eleven” Announcement coming November 16th
Well folks, we just received word right from Google of an upcoming event that will clearly be about Google Music. It looks like the time has finally come and Google will be announcing and showing the world what they have in store for Google Music. If the "These Go to Eleven" didn't ring a bell for anyone, think Spinal Tap. If you don't know what that is I suggest you Google that, and enjoy it. Recent Google Music pages pointed to a music store coming to the Android Market, but we'll all know the details come next week.

Motorola DROID RAZR official: LTE speed in a svelte slate
After many, many leaks, Motorola has finally unveiled its latest flagship phone at a joint event with Verizon in New York City. The Gingerbread-powered device revives a classic Motorola nomenclature: they're calling it the DROID RAZR after the drool-inducing flip phone of years past. The skinny 4.3-inch slate will be Motorola's new flagship phone after the somewhat underwhelming BIONIC, and one of the most high-profile phones to use Verizon's 4G LTE network. Chief among the new features is an armored Kevlar construction, a first in a mainstream phone.

LG Optimus Black to be called the LG Marquee
It looks like the LG Optimus Black we've seen a few times that was also said to be headed to US carriers back in July is finally here, but with a different name and a slightly different cover around back. The Optimus Black will be called the LG Marquee and will debut here in the U.S. on the Now Network in yellow.
