Angry Birds Rio Update Teased, Carnival Levels On The Way

Our friends at Rovio just teased us all with some new and upcoming Episodes for the highly popular Angry Birds Rio. The newest update coming soon is called Carnival and even though the teaser says out "now" it's not out yet but will be coming soon. From the look of things the Rovio train full of Angry Birds wont be slowing down any time soon, they've been updating all 3 major version on a fairly regular basis now. Is anyone ready to play something else yet?

Angry Birds RIO Update on Android Market by Friday

The cards are tossed, Rovio's released their newest update for their RIO expansion of the Angry Birds franchise, and customers only willing to use the Android Marketplace are digging their fingernails into their kneecaps waiting for it to be out for them. Turns out they'll only be waiting a couple more days is Rovio ain't lyin - at the end of Friday at the latest. Meanwhile everyone else in the world on both Android and iOS are enjoying the fruits of their beaches.

Angry Birds RIO Beach Volley [Full Spoiler]

Today's the day! It's the day that the May update for the Angry Birds RIO expansion, one called Beach Volley, and it's a whole bunch of fun in the sun for hours on end! Actually more like an hour or so if you're cruising through it with no regard for golden watermelons or three-star perfect scores. What we've done, in classic Android Community fashion, is run through the game using our amazing Angry Birds professional gamer Millie the Cat! She's made it easy for those of you so hungry for the storyline that playing the game just wont do! Have a look at all the levels on the beach below.

What I have for you today is a little treat for all you Angry Birds fanatics out there. I know there is plenty of you. Even if you don't admit it we know you play it while your bored at work, daily. I've looked into this myself and didn't know it was possible, but we now have a way to backup your game saves and progress on all 3 versions of Angry Birds. Regular version, seasons, and Rio. So now keep your progress on your G1, Thunderbolt, and on your Motorola Xoom (or whatever devices you own) so you never have to replay all the levels unless you want to of course.

Angry Birds RIO gets an update next week

Rovio has reported on their Facebook page that Angry Birds RIO is getting an update this week. The update, whatever comes after "Jungle Escape," will unlock some sweet new features including "marmoset mauling action" and it'll have many "juicy secrets" to discover. The update is being released a little later than expected, much to the chagrin of gamers who have been chomping at the bit and complaining about it's slipped release date. But they can rejoice that it will be followed by three more chapters of the Angry Birds Rio game to be released on or about July, October, and November of 2011.
