Netflix has just updated their app in the Android Market to support the Motorola Droid X running 2.3 Gingerbread. When Netflix was updated back in May and removed the device compatibility check it was working on many devices including the leaked 2.3 for the Droid X. Now the latest update should make it work for all Motorola Droid X users and possibly others.

Xperia X10. The Xperia X10 was originally launched on Android 1.6 and the wait for a newer version of Android was a long road if you were waiting for an official release. It took until the end of May of this year for the X10 to get Android 2.1 and 2.3 has been around for a while, but we are now seeing what looks to be an official version running on the Xperia X10.
Droid Charge is just the second phone to launch with Verizon 4G LTE, it may be blazing fast but it is not perfect. Lucky for all you Charge owners Verizon has just given the green light for an update to begin rolling out. The update should come OTA (over the air) right to the device and it should fix a slew of issues and problems as well as bring on many performance and 3G/4G connectivity improvements.
Huawei Ascend upgrade to Android 2.2 is now available. The Ascend launched back in December and even though this is only for Android 2.2 at least it is seeing the update faster than many other phones in the past. There is no talk regarding Gingerbread for now but an update is an update right.
HTC EVO 4G we all know and love. The EVO has been one of the biggest selling Android phones aside from the Galaxy S and has been a huge success for Sprint. The update to that sweet Gingerbread was talked about back in April, then leaked a few days later. This will be official, and tasty just as Gingerbread has been.

we mentioned that the Droid X would be starting the Android Gingerbread 2.3 update Friday the 27th. It looks as if this time the date given has actually came true, sort of. According to sources the OTA update for 2.3.3 Gingerbread is rolling out in what Verizon is calling a "soak test" or a test run to put it plainly. It looks as if a few users are starting to see the updates on their devices.
pulled from T-Mobile due to quality control issues, only later denied by T-Mobiles twitter account stating that it was not pulled for QC and rather it was low on inventory because it was selling in high volumes. Now reports are coming out that they are currently getting ready to release the Gingerbread update soon and that it will fix some of the issues being reported.
