Slate 8 Pro and Slate 7 Extreme back in September. That announcement also included the Slate 7 HD and Slate 10 HD. But the key for today is the Pro and Extreme models as they have both begun to arrive with US retailers. Specifically, the Slate 8 Pro and Slate 7 Extreme are available direct with HP and also with big-box retailer Best Buy.
Lenovo unveiled a pair of tablets a few weeks earlier. This was the Yoga Tablet lineup and it included an 8-inch and 10-inch variant. Or perhaps better remembered, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet may be better known for two things -- the unique design and the bit about how they were announced with celebrity endorsement. That celebrity was Ashton Kutcher and while the Yoga Tablet lineup has an interesting look, we must admit we were pleasantly surprised when we pulled these out of the box and began playing.

Well, it appears as if the tablet has begun arriving with US retailers. So far we are seeing a listing with Newegg.
Ematic has a wide range of tablets available, some for anyone and some that are intended more for children. While adults more often than not can keep their non-waterproof tablet from getting covered in water, kids aren't always so good at doing the same. With that in mind, it looks like the folks at Ematic have taken two of their more popular models and began treating them with Liquipel.
NVIDIA dropped an official announcement for the Tegra Note tablet platform back in September. The key words here were tablet platform as NVIDIA will have partners selling the actual hardware. One partner example is ADVENT, who unveiled the Vega Tegra Note 7 last week. Regardless of the partner though, the hardware will remain the same and NVIDIA announced these with a price point of $199.
Nexus 5 this week, Google hasn't forgotten about the Nexus 7. In fact, Google has recently posted a few new Nexus 7 promo videos on YouTube. These latest include In Play and Center Stage and they are following up the Best Friend and Study Hall videos we saw a few weeks earlier.
