AT&T Sony Xperia TL Jelly Bean update begins

It looks like the Jelly Bean update process has begun for the AT&T branded Sony Xperia TL smartphone. Unfortunately that bit of good news does come with a catch. The update process has just begun and at the moment we have yet to see any reports of the update arriving over the air. Basically, Jelly Bean is coming for the AT&T Xperia TL, however there is a bit of a hassle to get it updated at the moment.

Pwn Pad: 7-inch pen-testing tablet running Android 4.2 and Ubuntu 12.04

The debate as to how useful a tablet can be in the business world is ongoing, however it looks like Pwnie Express have set out to make the tablet a useful tool in terms of penetration testing. In fact, the company has recently unveiled the Pwn Pad, a 7-inch tablet that they describe as being a "commercial grade penetration testing tablet." Aside from the 7-inch display, this tablet is running Android 4.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 and touting features to include a OSS-Based Pentester Toolkit and Long Range Wireless Packet Injection.

Google details everything new that arrived with Android 4.2

Google has recently updated their Jelly Bean page. This is the page that talks about Android 4.2 as a whole, however this update has added details on everything that has arrived new since Android 4.1. Needless to say, this page takes away the guessing and just breaks it all down. To begin with, Google describes 4.2 as bringing the speed and simplicity of Android 4.1 with new features to includes Photo Sphere, a redesigned camera app, new Gesture Typing keyboard, Google Now (with new cards) and more.

LG readying Jelly Bean for the Optimus 4X HD, L9 and L7 smartphones

LG recently began teasing in advance of Mobile World Congress and while we wait to see what they have planned for the show, it looks like they have also started teasing some current device owners with an update. Specifically, teasing those with an Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L9 and Optimus L7 with Jelly Bean. The details are still at a minimum, however if you happen to be carrying any of those three devices -- an update is in the works.
