Eee Pad Transformer website launched

Asus has launched it's web portal for their upcoming eeePC Transformer tablet. The site appears to be using the computer's optional docking station as it's centerpiece with the slogan "My Multiple Life, I decide." The main image shows the Transformer sliding into the docking station with keyboard to become a complete laptop solution. The dock also provides for longer battery life, up to 16 hours, over the 9.5 hours just on the tablet battery.

LG G-Slate Demos NVIDIA Tegra 2 Optimized Riptide GP

We got another hands-on experience with the fabulous LG G-Slate that will, as you know, be coming out relatively soon to a market soon to be underwater with tablets that will surely fall short. What we've got here is a game by the name of Riptide GP, a game that's previously been out on Xbox, here mobile for the first time courtesy of our pals over at Vector Unit, Flashman Capital, and of course, NVIDIA. Have a peek with us as we get a smooth demo on the near-complete LG Android tablet.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Appears at Best Buy for $400

Our main fellow over in England, Chris Davies of SlashGear, had a close look at the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer in its current state yesterday, letting us know that it's totally cold blooded! Included in his report were prices and release dates for the tablet and its keyboard counterpart, but missing were the dates and money signs for our USA best technological friend, Best Buy. All that's changed now - or at least the dollar bit has, as Best Buy's reporting on their release (minus the date bit) and what you'll be spending on this fabulous Honeycomb tablet.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Hands-On [Plus Price and Release Dates + Eee Slate EP121] with Chris Davies

Our man in London Chris Davies over at SlashGear went on a pretty neat mission today to take a look at ASUS' newest contribution to our ever-expanding world of exciting tech with the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. What we're looking at here is a brand spanking new Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet that can also slip into a keyboard to become what appears at first to be a fully functional laptop. Will it hold up to its fashionable good looks? Also we've got the prices and releases of both the tablet and its laptop partner below!

Acer Iconia Tab A500 [Picasso] Android Tablet Hands-On

Now before we begin, I must say that this is not the first we've ever heard of this tablet, nor is it the first we've ever seen it in real life (If I remember right, we snuck a tiny peek at it at CES 2011 but were sworn to secrecy.) Now we've got our grubby mitts on it and we've been given the opportunity to compare it not only to the Motorola XOOM tablet, but the iPad 2, both for size and for weight. This is a tablet that's made of metal, this is a tablet that's made for Honeycomb, this is a tablet that is nowhere near ready for release.

Samsung TouchWiz UX (4.0) for Android Tablets Hands-On Demo

This is what Samsung is showing off as their total revamp of the tablet for Android by Samsung, specifically on the Galaxy Tab family. This system will be introduced first on the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 and 8.9. This will be an optional upgrade for the tablet family, one you can feel free to download once it's fully available later this year after the 10.1 and 8.9 are available in their Wifi-only versions. One of the biggest innovations here is the idea that a homescreen replacement doesn't have to hold back, it can be a complete replacement, one that uses Android as an engine and that's it!

Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 Hands-On

While I've got a hunch that the GALAXY Tab 8.9 is going to be the break-out superstar of this whole situation, you've got to admit that this particular tablet is set up QUITE nicely to go directly into battle with the iPad 2 and the Motorola XOOM. We've been essentially championing the Motorola XOOM since it arrived on our doorstep, but no matter how in love I personally am with that particular bowl of Honeycomb, I can't help but look very much forward to this slightly thinner and definitely lighter device.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Revealed

We're here at CTIA 2011 where we've been given the opportunity to take an early look at the soon to be announced Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet. This is a device that will be released with the tablet centric Honeycomb version of Android and will be given the option to upgrade to a TouchWiz tablet optimized user interface soon after release. This tablet's Wifi-only version will be released this summer, while it's 4G HSPA+ version will be released soon after.

Flash Player 10.2 Up Now for Android, Incorrectly Listed as 10.1

As you might have guessed, today is indeed the day that Adobe releases their new version of Flash Player, that being Flash Player 10.2, to the world. However, there is a bit of a complication in the title, as in some places it's listed as Flash Player 10.1, and in others it's listed as 10.2. The correct link for the update is below, but before you go there, make sure your firmware is updated to the point it's supposed to be at, especially if you're using the Motorola XOOM.

Motorola XOOM Wifi-Only on Pre-Order at Staples NOW

While this isn't the cheapest place we've seen the tablet on pre-order or for sale yet, the wifi version of the Motorola XOOM Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet is now showing up at Staples. It is there that you can pre-order the tablet for a price starting at $599.98.
