Carmageddon for Android coming this Friday

Carmageddon will be released for Android this coming Friday and it looks like there has recently been some talk in terms of pricing. Basically, Carmageddon will be available in three versions. The trick with that is all three versions will not be available at the same time. More on that, but suffice to say, Carmageddon will be available for free and also as a paid download.

Madfinger Games talks upcoming OUYA, GameStick and MOGA

Yesterday brought news of an upcoming (and exclusive) game release for the OUYA console. That game will be Soul Fjord and it will be coming by way of Airtight Games. The key here, that is only one title for one console. Enter the latest from Madfinger Games who has been talking about the OUYA as well as the GameStick and MOGA. As for games, the talk begins (and seems to circle around) Shadowgun.

Dead on Arrival 2 beta arriving next month

It isn't a secret that NV3 Games will be releasing Dead on Arrival 2, however what we had been waiting on was word of a when that release will be. Well, we have yet to see when the final release will be available, but we now have word of an upcoming beta. The details have recently been shared on the official Dead on Arrival 2 site where they are asking for those who aren't afraid of the dark and those who "have a stomach for wave after wave of bloodshed and mayhem."

GameStick unboxes Kickstarter edition console and controller

Earlier this month we heard talk of shipping delays for the GameStick game system. The good news however is that the GameStick has since begun shipping. In fact, thanks to a recently posted unboxing video, we now know the GameStick began shipping to Kickstarter backers last week. Putting that bit of good news aside, it looks like those 5,691 Kickstarter backers can now get a look at what will be arriving.

OUYA game console clears the FCC

There isn't much we haven't already learned about the OUYA game console, however as of today we are seeing something different -- the FCC filing. As the game console has already made its way into the hands of some users, this filing contains already known bits of information. The filing does however contain plenty of images, not to mention, the full user manual for those who feel like they may want to do a bit of browsing.

OUYA game console ships with over 100 available games

We had known the OUYA game console was set to begin shipping to Kickstarter backers on March 28. And well, that seems to has begun without any delays. The OUYA team shared the news on their company blog in a post titled Shippin' -- the interesting part here, they begin with a thank you. You see, they are thanking the backers for well, backing them and making the console a success.

NVIDIA shows The Conduit HD on Project SHIELD

NVIDIA has returned with another Project SHIELD game demo. This latest is for The Conduit HD and it is a title that may sound familiar to some as we recently took a look at the Tegra 3 version of the game that launched for Android last week. Of course, while the game may sound familiar in name, this Project SHIELD release has been optimized for the Tegra 4 processor.

OUYA game console retail availability set for June 4

We know the OUYA game console began shipping out to the Kickstarter backers as of yesterday, however we are now seeing some additional details. These are details in terms of the shipping process as well as the upcoming retail launch date. The folks at OUYA have also given an updated status in terms of the amount of available games and left things with a promise that these shipments are "only the beginning."
