Basically, this sounds like something those searching for games may be interested in. Of course, the companies are touting perks for developers as well as the users.

Temple Run: Oz now available for Android [Hands-On]
Temple Run 2 launched back in late-January and almost immediately began setting records. In fact, it was said to have broken mobile gaming records by topping the 50 million download mark in just 13 days time. Since the release Temple Run 2 has gotten the bug fixing and performance enhancing update, however as of today it looks like we have another Temple Run game to play. This latest is Temple Run: Oz and follows in the path of the Brave edition in that it is a Disney release.

Samsung and Chillingo “100% Indie” app portal opens for business
Samsung and Chillingo announced the 100% Indie app portal in early-February and coming as was promised, the portal has gone live. For those who missed that earlier bit, the 100% Indie app portal is promising to "inspire, promote and motivate game developers." At least in part, that motivation will come in the form of an attractive revenue share model.

NVIDIA reveals five Tegra 4 optimized games
NVIDIA recently shared details on the Tegra 4 optimized version of Zombie Driver and as of today they have announced an additional five Tegra 4 optimized game titles. These latest five include Burn Zombie Burn, Carie: Blood Mansion, RPG CODEX, Dead on Arrival 2 and RU Golf. NVIDIA hasn't offered anything in terms of a timeline of when these games can be expected to arrive -- however without a release date for the Tegra 4, a release date for the games suddenly seems a bit less important.

Angry Birds Star Wars “Escape from Hoth” update expected soon
Earlier today we saw the teaser for the upcoming Bad Piggies update, however it looks like that is not the only Android game that Rovio has plans to update. The other is Angry Birds Star Wars and similar to the Bad Piggies update -- this one is said to be "coming soon." Hopefully for Star Wars fans, soon means sometime in the next few days.

The Dark Knight Rises game glides onto Google Play Store
If you're one of the many who can't seem to get enough Batman, then you'll be pleased to know that Gameloft's The Dark Knight Rises tie-in game is available now on the Google Play Store. As we told you a few days back, the game looks pretty great, and actually seems to be one of the few movie tie-in games that's worth your time. It may be worth a purchase for that reason alone, but we imagine the solid graphics and familiar gameplay will help to further sway you.

MOGA combines universal Bluetooth game pad and dev tools
I'll just come out and say it: touchscreen controls suck for action-packed, complex games like, say, N.O.V.A. 3. That's what makes the Xperia PLAY popular despite mid-range hardware, and why so much energy is expended on getting existing controllers to work with Android. MOGA isn't the first controller we've seen specifically for Android, but it does appear to be one of the best thought-out around, and it already works with games from Gameloft, Sega and others.

Carmageddon revs up for Android
Twisted Metal? Tame. Crazy Taxi? Kid's stuff. For the true connoisseur (or alternately Android bloggers looking to relive their ten-year-old gamer fantasies) Carmageddon is the cream of the crop. And thankfully, Stainless Games is bringing the much-loved and often-loathed game to Android smartphones and tablets later this year. We recommend a tailored selection of death metal to get you in the mood until then.
