Hello, Android Community readers! As our team is frantically packing and getting ready for CES 2011, you may notice a bit of a slow down with posts. But don't worry, once CES gets up and running we will be covering the event to its full extent.
As the holiday weekend comes to an end we are reporting a storm as CES 2011 approaches (just a week away, folks). We've definitely been busy here at Android Community not only prepping for CES 2011, but also pumping out all of the latest news regarding the Android operating system. As we near closer and closer to the end of the year, the hot topic of the technology community is, of course, CES 2011. We know that Motorola has the Everest to show off, Verizon has some LTE devices to announce, and we expect to see quite a bit of Android news coming out of CES next year. It has been quite a busy day here at Android Community. First and foremost, we're giving away two Google Cr-48 notebooks! If you win, you'll will be among the first group of people to get their hands on a Chrome OS notebook, as many notebooks aren't expected to hit shelves until mid 2011. While the Android community starts to shift it's focus to tablets as Honeycomb is the new "mystery" device news has been quite slow. We saw a few FCC listings, followed by the ultra-lux Galaxy tab and quite a few other software releases. Another day, another busy day in Android news. Gingerbread news is starting to die down and the internet is shifting its focus onto Honeycomb and the PlayStation phone with both making appearances today.
