Plex for Android update teased ahead of public release

It appears as if the Plex for Android app will soon be getting a makeover. In fact, the folks at Plex are describing this as being completely rewritten from scratch and with new features to include lock-screen music controls and global search integration. On the flip side of the new features though, this updated release of Plex for Android will remove support for some older devices.

Fitbit update brings wireless sync to select Android smartphones [Hands-On]

Fitbit announced details about wireless sync on Android back in January and since then -- we have been anxiously waiting for the update to arrive. Simply put, the latest Fitbit for Android app update has added just that. The wireless syncing is noted as being in beta and only available for select devices. The supported device list includes the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.

Silence for Android has recently been updated. For those unfamiliar, Silence is an app that will allow you to automate certain processes. I have been using Silence for a while now and was happy to see that the app has been updated. But more important, that this update arrived as more than a small bug fixer and instead brought some new features -- including one that will make it a bit easier and a bit quicker to set a schedule based on your calendar.

Pebble launched their Android app back on January 24 and it looks like an update has since arrived. This update isn't brining any new features, however it should be welcomed by those who happen to already have a Pebble on their wrist and have been having issues getting it paired. Simply put, this is a bug fixing update.

Agenda Calendar update brings 24-hour mode support and other improvements

The Agenda Calendar app launched for Android back in early-January after a long stretch of being available only for iOS devices. The app launched with a price tag of $1.99 and with support for devices running Android 4.0 or later for use. Given I had in the past flirted with an iPad and had been familiar with Agenda, I quickly spent the two bucks and had it running on my Galaxy S III.

Temple Run 2 app update brings performance improvements and bug fixes

Temple Run 2 launched first for iOS and Android users had to sit back and watch while the game topped the 20 million download mark. Of course, a little bit of a teasing wait seems to only left Android users anxious to download the game and begin playing. In fact, once Temple Run 2 landed in Google Play the combined downloads shot up and achieved a record breaking 50 million downloads in just 13 days.

Chrome Beta for Android update arrives with bug fixes

Google has released the latest Chrome Beta for Android app update. And while this one may not be quite as exciting as the previous update that added support for experimental features, it did bring a handful of bug fixes.
