Sony Xperia Z for T-Mobile getting Android 4.3 update

Sony Xperia Z owners on T-Mobile are getting an update today. The newest OTA brings a fresh version of Android, but sadly only updates it to 4.3 Jelly Bean. Sony is committed to supporting their devices, but this time it’s falling a touch short.

Sony teases Android 4.3 for the Xperia T, TX, V and SP

Sony has returned with another status update in terms of Android 4.3. They have yet to announce a specific availability date, however it looks like four Xperia handsets will be getting a bump in Jelly Bean in the next month or so. The devices include the Xperia T, TX, V and SP and the rough timeline points towards late January or early February.

AT&T Galaxy S4 Active users begin seeing Android 4.3 [UPDATE]

AT&T has yet to give the official nod for the update, however it seems Galaxy S4 Active users are in the process of getting Android 4.3. The update is on the larger size in terms of MBs, and will have your handset jumping from Android 4.2.2. Along with the bump to Android 4.3, the handset will also be sitting with baseband version I537UCUBML2 once the update has been installed.

Tegra Note 7 update brings Android 4.3, Always-On HDR, more

NVIDIA has begun pushing the latest update for the Tegra Note 7 tablet. This particular update is coming from NVIDIA, however it is heading to all of the different branded models. According to NVIDIA, those with a Tegra Note 7 from EVGA, ADVENT, Gigabyte, Shenzhen Homecare Technology, ZOTAC and XOLO should be on the lookout for the update notification. That said, this update brings Android 4.3 along with stylus improvements and Always-On HDR (AOHDR).

Sony talks Android 4.3 for the Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Xperia Tablet Z

It was a few weeks earlier when Sony announced that Jelly Bean was rolling out to the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra. Perhaps more important though, that news came with a bit of teasing about how the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update rollout for the "remaining" Sony Xperia devices was "right around the corner." Well, it looks like that day has come and Sony has announced Jelly Bean for four additional devices.

Verizon Galaxy S III Android 4.3 update rolling out

Following some of the other carrier branded Galaxy S III updates, Verizon Wireless has become the latest to begin rolling out Android 4.3. With that in mind, those carrying a Verizon Galaxy S III should be on the lookout for the update notification to arrive. Knowing the update rollout has already begun, users will be seeing an update that measures in at roughly 116MB in size and delivering support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch as well as a decent sized list of fixes, changes, and other miscellaneous tweaks.
