Huawei Ascend P7 “Sophia” leak tips Android 4.4.2

Huawei quietly released the Ascend P6S a few weeks earlier, however it looks like the true follow up to the Ascend P6 is still in the works. The handset is dubbed the Huawei Ascend P7 and it is currently sporting a codename of Sophia. A fairly complete set of specs have already leaked, however some new information coming from the Chinese language CNMO.com suggests the P7 will be running Android 4.4.2 at launch.

HTC One Android 4.4 Kit Kat update delayed 1 to 2 weeks

After Kit Kat was announced, HTC went on record saying they would "deliver Android 4.4 with Sense 5.5 for the HTC One within 90 days." For reference, that statement was issued the same day Kit Kat was announced, on October 31, 2013. And as we draw ever so closer to the 90 day mark, HTC has issued another statement with mention of how they "are getting closer to delivering KitKat and the finish line is becoming more clear."

Android 4.4 rolling out to Verizon DROID users now

After a soak test, Verizon DROID owners are set to get Android 4.4 soon. The update is rolling out gradually, and affects all new DROID devices via Verizon. With that, you can expect your DROID Ultra, Maxx, and Mini to get KitKat soon, but don’t get overly excited. The update comes with a few catches.

Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat update beginning in Europe

It appears as if Samsung has begun rolling the Android 4.4.2 update to Galaxy Note 3 users a bit ahead of schedule. Of course, that doesn't mean every Galaxy Note 3 user will be seeing the update notification just yet. To that point, the update has began in Europe, specifically in Poland. And to further detail the availability, for now it seems the update is only available using Kies and for the quad-core Snapdragon variant.
