Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the year-old Samsung Galaxy S III was almost seen as a blessing until users started experiencing critical problems after installing it. Samsung UK has just issued an official statement that doesn't give much information about the issues but at least acknowledges it and promises to look into it.

Android 4.3 update. According to several sources, AT&T has halted the Android 4.3 rollout. Though specific reasons weren’t cited, it seems as though AT&T was noticing issues with the update. We’re also not clear on just what those issues are.
AT&T has become the latest US carrier to begin rolling Android 4.3 out to Galaxy S 4 users. This update has arrived for Verizon Wireless users and more recently, for those sporting a US Cellular branded Galaxy S 4. As of today, AT&T users will be able to grab the update, and as a forewarning, this is a rather large update.
Motorola announced the Moto G earlier this morning and as a lead in for the event, there was some talk of Kit Kat on the Moto X. There wasn't anything specific offered in terms of carriers, however Motorola did say Android 4.4 Kit Kat would be arriving for Moto X users in a "matter of weeks." Naturally, that depends of successful tests and carrier approval.
Moto G is set for release this Wednesday in Brazil, but some interesting information has been finding its way out ahead of the launch. Motorola has set an announcement date, but we may have seen a clue as to when it will be widely available for order. There are also benchmark results that could tell us a lot more about how it performs, as well as some info about what version of Android it will be running on.

Sony recently began teasing some Jelly Bean and Kit Kat updates. That was little more than Sony promising and update next week with more details about Android 4.3 and 4.4. Well, next week has arrived and so has that status update from Sony. There are still some specifics that will need to be spelled out, however Sony has offered some rough timelines and some specific devices.
US Cellular, by way of their Facebook page, have confirmed some good news for those carrying a Samsung Galaxy S 4. An update is coming, and coming soon. US Cellular has announced plans to begin the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on November 8. And for those without a calendar handy, that would be tomorrow.
