Archos have announced their newest tablet is finally available for purchase. However, this isn't any ordinary Android tablet. Instead Archos has released their brand new GamePad for Android. Sony is breaking the mold from its typical product suite with a new smartphone that it claims will be very affordable. If there's one thing Sony is not known for, it's making cheap products. Sony's new phone will be called the Sony Xperia E, and it will be built around simplicity.
Toshiba has just announced a brand new 10-inch tablet which shall be known as the Excite 10 SE. Toshiba is going for the higher end tablet market with this new model. It comes loaded with all the hardware you would expect to see from a tablet on upper-end of the spectrum.
Android manufacturers are rushing to get Jelly Bean updates out the door, Samsung has been one of the best. The company is or will be supporting a lot of its handsets with Jelly Bean updates, including the Galaxy S Advance. We've known for a little while that the Galaxy S Advance was going to be updated to Jelly Bean, but today we're getting an actual release window for the update.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean would actually come to the Nexus S, it seems that Google has begun the roll out. Unfortunately, for the moment it seems that only some carriers are getting the update, so some Nexus S owners may be left waiting for a while. In any case, Google announced via the Nexus Twitter account today that the update roll out has started, so at least we know that it's underway.
