Sony Xperia handsets will soon be getting an update. Sony has yet to offer a specific timeframe as to when the updates will begin rolling out, however they have begun talking about updates being in the final stages of testing. The details are coming direct from Sony and include talk of the Xperia P, Go, S, SL, acro S and ion.

LG Escape launched with AT&T as a budget-priced device back in September of last year. At the time the Escape was running Ice Cream Sandwich, however it looks like that will soon be changing. In fact, AT&T has said that Jelly Bean is now available for those carrying an LG Escape. The update is arriving as Android 4.1 and will be available over-the-air.
LG Optimus G with AT&T, however as of today, that update has been officially announced. The update is bringing Jelly Bean and is rolling-out as of today, April 4. Those with an Optimus G will be getting Android 4.1.2 along with a few additional perks.
AT&T branded handset is getting Jelly Bean. The handset is the Samsung Galaxy Express and the update will be arriving as Android 4.1. Perhaps even better, AT&T has said the update is available now and that it will be coming over the air. Those with an AT&T branded Galaxy Express now have two options ahead of them.
Jelly Bean update process began for the AT&T Sony Xperia TL earlier in the month. In fact, it began on March 1. The catch was that the update was only available by way of the PC Companion desktop app. That has since changed and as of today -- AT&T has announced that Jelly Bean is now rolling-out over-the-air.
Motorola may not be perfect in terms of how fast they are able to roll-out an Android update, they have always been pretty good at providing status updates. The company has long had a support page on their site. More important, that page has seen frequent updates. The issue had always been in the discovery though -- you see, the page generally consisted of one long list with lots of names and model numbers.
LG recently began teasing in advance of Mobile World Congress and while we wait to see what they have planned for the show, it looks like they have also started teasing some current device owners with an update. Specifically, teasing those with an Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L9 and Optimus L7 with Jelly Bean. The details are still at a minimum, however if you happen to be carrying any of those three devices -- an update is in the works.
Jelly Bean updates. Earlier today we learned Motorola was rolling-out Android 4.1.2 for the Electrify M and now it looks like the company has an update ready for those in Canada. Specifically, for those carrying the RAZR HD LTE smartphone, which is available with Rogers and Fido.
