Samsung Galaxy S II [AT&T] Ice Cream Sandwich alpha build hands-on
Now that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is out in the wild and the source is available to all we are starting to see a few ICS ROM's appearing for select handsets. This is not a port from the SDK but a ROM built and modified right from the source code. What I have for you today is the highly popular Samsung Galaxy S II running the latest and greatest 4.0 ICS from Google. Remember this is very much an alpha build and not remotely close to being finished -- but it's still fun to use and enjoy as well as show all of you.

Adobe says Flash for ICS will be last supported OS
We have already talked about the fact that there was supposed to be no Flash support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Adobe has now announced that it will be offering Flash for ICS after all. There is a catch though; Adobe has noted that ICS will be the last supported Android OS for Flash. That means all future version of Android will have to make it with no Flash.

It's been great here in the tech world this past week, with Google Music now open to the public, some amazing Black Friday sales starting to emerge, and finally some more Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in our lives. Monday, Notion Ink hinted that on November 17, Android 4.0 source code would likely hit the net. Fortunately, they were wrong again - as Google leaked it to the public later that same day!

Android 4.0 ICS Tip: Connecting to WiFi
The entire process of connecting to a Wi-Fi network may sound extremely easy, but for some it isn't as easy as you'd think. Not only that but Google has changed this for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and after messing around with the Galaxy Nexus we've noticed a few differences worth noting. I have friends that are part of the younger crowd that should very well know how to use Wi-Fi but for some reason don't, so this should help more than just those looking at getting the Galaxy Nexus or an ICS device.

Ice Cream Sandwich tablet spotted and teased thanks to Google
After all the hype this morning regarding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus finally launching with the brand new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich we are now seeing what appears to be our first actual glimpse of Ice Cream Sandwich on a tablet, even if it's just a render. Thanks to Google we now have our first look of what to expect. The Android Honeycomb buttons have been replaced with the same ICS software buttons seen on the Galaxy Nexus not to mention that pretty cyan color for the notifications. It does look pretty if I don't say so myself.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Hands-on
This week we get the privilege of handling not only the newest device in the Samsung portfolio, complete with curved front display at a resolution not yet seen on a Super AMOLED touchscreen, we get to experience the newest version of Google's mobile OS: Ice Cream Sandwich. This is the 4.0 version of Android and is the most significant refresh for Android since FroYo. Have a quick peek and you'll think it's Honeycomb for handsets, but you'll quickly realize that this is a combination of all the good points, plus a bunch more new, of Androids past. Have another peek at what this newest flavoring is all about.

Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus sign-up page now headlines Verizon Wireless
News regarding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has appeared in some shape or form on a daily basis well before it was even announced, and today that continues. We first told you back in October about the sign-up page for details on the Galaxy Nexus right at Samsung.com but today it has changed a bit. Instead of just offerings news and updates it now exclusively states Verizon Wireless. Maybe an announcement with availability is coming soon.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus hidden notification LED [Video]
Who knew the Samsung Galaxy Nexus featured a multicolored notification LED hidden on the bottom chin area? We mentioned this feature back in October before the big unveiling of the Galaxy Nexus but it seems many still don't know about it. Most hands-on coverage doesn't mention it either so we figured a little video preview showing you what to expect would be worth a quick 25-30 second glance.

We've had a great week of tech reviews, hands-on/unboxings, and development for this first week of November! First, we started off our work week with an excellent review of the Motorola ATRIX 2 by Michael Crider. An unboxing of the HTC Rezound was then performed by Cory Gunther soon after. After seeing ads of the HTC Rezound show up in Verizon Wireless stores, you can be sure to see this device soon. It was officially announced to the public Thursday, and around the same time we released our own hands-on round-up.

Meizu M9 and MX will receive update to Ice Cream Sandwich
While I'm sure the news for all things Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will keep coming in over the next few months, we are now getting confirmation from another company, Meizu, that their line of smartphones will be updated to the latest and greatest. Earlier this week Meizu CEO Jack Wong casually mentioned on their forums that many of their top devices will receive updates to ICS.
