Samsung Galaxy Tab WIFI only finally for sale starting April 10th

What do we have here, it looks as if Samsung has finally decided to sell the Wifi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Yea that 7" slate that was released a long time ago that we never got a wifi version of, yup that is the one. A little late IMO, but better than never I guess. Samsung has just officially announced it will be up for sale starting April 10th (in 4 days) at multiple outlets and online sites.

Sprint’s HTC EVO View 4G to ship running Honeycomb

Sprint has apparently confirmed that its HTC EVO View 4G - the WiMAX-toting version of the HTC Flyer will indeed arrive running Android 3.0 Honeycomb out of the box. According to a mention on the Sprint "coming soon" page, the 7-inch slate has "Android 3.0 just for tablets." There's also "redesigned HTC Sense"; HTC plans to skin Honeycomb just as it has done with Gingerbread, so the UI of the Flyer won't resemble other Android 3.0 tablets like Motorola's XOOM. That includes the rotating 3D carousel homescreen and of course modifications to suit the Flyer's digital stylus. Previous rumors had suggested that Google might be blocking Android 2.x to 3.x upgrades for tablets, but HTC has since re-confirmed that it intends to release an update to Honeycomb for those early releases of the Flyer which arrive with Gingerbread. That could be any time in Q2, though there has been talk of the first units dropping this month. [via NetbookNews]

Google Ditches XOOM, Courts LG for Google Tablet [RUMOR]

There's whispers bouncing around the interwebs that Google's isn't exactly thrilled with the performance of the Motorola Xoom and may be developing their own, pure, Google Tablet for LG to make. Now why on earth would they do that? It may be that Google wants to expand their Nexus brand name with a Nexus Tablet, but the only reason Nexus really exists is because cellphone companies like to add overlays like TouchWiz and Blur which bog down the phone and cause Google to rework updates to run with them. But with Tablets, Google is essentially enjoying a free hand as every tablet runs a pure Android experience. So what gives?

Motorola reducing Xoom orders and supply already? Moto says No

Earlier this week there was a few reports that the Motorola Xoom was doing ok with sales, but that Motorola was already starting to cut orders, and lower supply. There was also talk that they might be terminating production as soon as July 2011. This all stems from a story by Digitimes that ran yesterday. For more information on the original story we covered it at SlashGear.

Pioneer Computers outs DreamBook ePad H10 tablet

I am not sure why Pioneer computers decided to give the DreamBook ePad H10 such a long name. Quibbles about the name aside the little tablet might be interesting to some folks shopping for something different than the mainstream offerings. The tablet will run Android 3.0.
