Some of us suspected this from the beginning but still kept our hopes up. Keep in mind while reading this that this is only pertaining to full Flash 10.1, Flash lite is still a possibility. Adobe has released the minimum requirements for Flash 10.1, and, as many feared, most first generation Android phones fall short. Never the less, Flash Lite remains a possibility.
One of the new features that was introduced to Android with the release of the Nexus One and Android 2.1 was the voice to text input. This feature has now been duplicated and is available now for all Android devices. The folks over at Better Android has just released Better Keyboard V5.0.
Another surprise packed into this compact version of the Pulse. In the video below the representative stated that this phone can have up to 15 different home screens and this is all done on the stock firmware.
A gift from Motorola to you. All you Milestone users in the UK can update to Android 2.0.1. All you have to do is go into settings then select system update and you soon can bask in 2.0.1 in all it's glory.
General Mobile has been known for making knockoff's of popular smartphones and usually we just laugh at them and forget about their existence. But this is a different situation, the Touch Stone looks to bring us something we all wanted but HTC could not deliver. Thats Android on the HD2.
This can't come soon enough for most Sprint Hero/Moment users. Since the release of the Droid every Android handset owner wanted to be a part of the Eclair family. Well, it's been months since the release of the Droid and there are only two Android devices running some version of Eclair. Sit tight Sprint customers because they are still testing 2.1 for their devices and they are getting ready to start pushing out the OTA's.
Earlier today I discussed the possibility of this phone being on multiple carriers around the world. T-Mobile UK is slated for a March 26th release. Not to be out done Orange has announced their plans for the Desire that includes a free offering for certain plans.
I'll let the announcement speak for itself:
The battle for the small phone market is on. First there was HTC's Tattoo, the Sony announced the Mini X10 And Mini Pro with a keyboard. Now the Pulse Mini enters and it is bringing a weapon to the battle, a stylus.
