The plan is to start in Europe and then phase across six continents, ending with North America and Asia. Likely through AT&T and T-Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 4.0 and Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 Official
Today there's one big fat announcement coming from Samsung on two new fabulous additions to their massively-successful Galaxy S line. What'll it be? Something gigantic? Something tiny and thin? How about a little of both, and without any network connection? Sounds intriguing! How about if we tell you that the two devices announced in this post have no plans for release in the USA whatsoever? A terrifying prospect to be sure! What ever will we use to stopper the hunger for such a unique device?

Droid Incredible blowing out for a Penny at Amazon
Amazon is blowing out their inventory of HTC Droid Incredible phones for .01 with a two year deal. The sale is obviously to make some room since, as we reported today, the Droid Incredible 2 will be hitting the portal on Thursday. Now sure, users looking for a new phone may not mind laying out $199 for the latest Incredible 2. But considering it's essentially using the same processor and comes with a $25 app credit from Amazon, how can you complain?

Motorola sends the XT316 to FCC
Motorola has send their XT316 Smartphone to the FCC. The QWERTY Candybar model looks to be a solid option for BlackBerry users looking to transition to the Android platform. However, according to sources, the XT316 isn't meant for the US, as it's looking to head to the Chinese market in it's initial launch. The world phone is being tested for WCDMA bands 850 and 2100, but offers no real support for US 3G networks.

Samsung Fascinate users report Froyo update problems and solutions
Samsung Fascinate users are complaining of errors after receiving the OTA update of OS 2.2 Froyo. The error message that users are receiving is "UPDATE FAILED or INCOMPLETE. reason: IP_PREVIOUS_UPDATE_FAILED" and appears to be affecting users with a Fascinate that is either rooted, has a previous update that failed to complete, or has a corrupted system directory. Users have tried everything from a hard reset to removing the battery with no help in clearing the error. But thanks to a smart Fascinate user, there's a workaround.

Samsung Vibrant gets an update tweak
Users of the Samsung Vibrant (aka the Samsung Galaxy S) can get an update for their phones that fixes a few bugs here and there. The update, known as KB5, also updates Gmail and YouTube, boosting them to R9 versions respectively. There was also a DRM issue with the music player that prevented some music from playing. Samsung has fixed that as well.

T-Mobile G2x Review
Welcome to Android Community's review of the T-Mobile G2x, T-Mobile's first dual-core device, LG's first dual-core device, and back when it when people called its very close relative the Optimus 2x, the first dual-core period. All that doesn't matter though because there this sassy little lady is, and it's bumpin. Over the past few days we've been putting this phone through some wild tests and real-world use tests, even playing some games on it, and here we've got the first big verdict.

Sony Ericsson XPEIRA acro Presentation Pics Leaked
The following is a collection of presentation slides that appears to have been leaked from Sony Ericsson Japan. The slides show a device by the name of XPERIA acro which will roll out with interior and exterior aesthetics quite similar to those seen on recent XPERIA phones, with one or two major exceptions. In order to fly into the Japanese smartphone market, one that's still nothing compared to the flip-phone market mind you, a device must have instant-payment capabilities. That why this sassy little lady has NFC.

T-Mobile G2x Hands-On and Unboxing [Video]
Oh my goodness look at this amazing smartphone right here. This is the same phone we got to have a brief hands-on with back at CTIA at the Hawaiian Luau aka Pepcom. Now we've been sent out very own in the mail and it's oh so sweet to behold. Inside you're going to find a Vanilla version of Android 2.2 Froyo (that meaning no mods from T-Mobile, just pure Googly goodness,) on the outside you're going to find front and back facing cameras including a fat 8 megapixel on the back - and smoothness. Simple designs breed simply awesome experiences, if I do say so myself.

Samsung Gem Review [a Unique Android Indeed]
There's a soft spot in my heart for all of the odd iterations of devices running Android, especially when they provide essentially the same software as their brothers and sisters. What this phone represents is a bridge for scaredy cats to get into smartphones - people who've been using cellphones for a few years, but aren't quite ready to experience the top Android phones and appreciate them for what they are. Instead, this phone has all the buttons it needs - physical buttons, mind you, to present itself as an easy to use phone that also has smartphone features and functionality - and it's cute!
