$35 DataWind Aakash tablet on sale in India
India has long been the home of dirt-cheap tech for the masses, and now you can add an Android tablet to the mix. The Aakash (Hindi for "sky") tablet is being sold for the equivalent of $45 to the general public, with subsidized $35 versions selling to students and teachers. In local currency it's about 1,700 Rupees. The basic tablet is being made by budget manufacturer DataWind.

ViewSonic V430 Android smartphone appears in Russia
ViewSonic is back today with another Android handset spotted in Russia. You might not remember many Android phones from ViewSonic but they had the V350 and then the scary ViewPad 4. Today we have the V430 Android 2.2 FroYo smartphone -- Yes sadly we said Froyo but we have hopes it might get a boost to some Gingerbread.

ViewSonic ViewPad 10pro Hands-On [Video]
We've all seen the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x and ViewPad 7e - and now we have some special hands-on treatment for the ViewPad 10pro. We previously believed the 10pro would be dual booting Android 2.2 and Windows 7. However, what makes this slate special is that it doesn't natively run Android OS. Through the help of BlueStacks, Android applications run seamlessly over Windows 7. Take a closer look below to view the BlueStacks integration as well as some recent UI enhancements made for the 7e and 7x.

Netflix for Android updated to support all Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices
Netflix for Android was just updated in the Android market and this has been a long time coming if you ask me. Apparently Netflix has finally got around to adding support for not some but ALL Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices. Back in May it was updated with like 5 new phones supported and many weren't impressed then in June Netflix added Gingerbread support.

ScreenCast App Review, Screen Recorder for Android
Today I found a new application for Android that looked pretty awesome, it's called Screen Cast. This is a screen capture and screen recording application for Android smartphones and tablets. Obviously something like this will require root access, but that is to be expected. In the market now by Media Solutions they have both a free version to test the app and try all of the features, as well as a paid version for $2.99 for those wanting to record for a bit longer.

ViewSonic G-Tablet 10″ Dual-Core Android Tab only $239 Today [Deal]
This isn't the first time we've seen the G-Tablet in the bargain bin, and most likely it wont be the last. For the price you actually get a pretty great device that has plenty of power to help keep things moving smooth. This is the ViewSonic G-Tablet and it was actually the first NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core tablet to hit the market here in the U.S. even though sadly it only runs Android 2.2 FroYo. Today it can be yours for just $239 at Woot.com

Watching it on your phone was promised, but the app wasn't available. Until today that is. Videos has been updated in the Market and is now available for many Froyo and Gingerbread devices.

LG Thrill 3D Shows Up in Best Buy Ad
The LG Thrill 4G is their latest entry into the Android world headed for AT&T. The phone is a glasses-free 3D powerhouse much like the EVO 3D and I've always wondered why they didn't include the term 3D in the title for the device. Although it was recently delayed til late August a new Best Buy ad showed up making us think it may end up launching sooner.

LG Revolution Update Coming Soon, Not Gingerbread but will fix bugs
The LG Revolution is next in line to get an update, sadly this wont be that tasty Gingerbread 2.3 and you're not getting any milk either but it will fix a pile of bugs and add some new features. This will be the first update for the Verizon LTE device, it is 69MB and will bring users to version VS910ZV6.
