This is possibly the most anticipated phone to release in China this year. Some analyst is even calling it an iPhone 4G killer. The CEO of Meizu has confirmed this to be an Android 2.1 device. Now another goody was let out of the bag, this handset will include an output for HDMI 1.3. The processor is none other than the Samsung C110 which is powerful enough to decode full HD.
Sony Ericsson has confirmed that their XPERIA X10 series, which includes the X10, XPERIA X10 mini and X10 mini pro, will receive an upgrade to Android 2.1. This update won’t happen until Q4 later this year. This update will add HD video recording to the X10 as well as other media-centric tweaks.
Usually when a handset passes the FCC it’s really close to being released. The Samsung M910 is expected to be the Moment 2 and it has just passed through the FCC. Looks like the original Moment will have a short lifespan just like the HTC Eris. Hopefully 2.1 still get pushed to both of these devices, Sprint has pretty much confirmed the update for both their current Android devices so it’s now a waiting game.
Today, T-Mobile official announced the newest addition to the myTouch family, the myTouch 3G Slide. We’ve heard many rumors in past few months about this device but now it official. This device is slated for release in June, that’s right folk, next month you can go pick one up. This is an Android 2.1 device with a custom version of HTC’s Sense UI called Espresso. It also packs in a few other surprises as well.
Finally, there are more details on the upcoming Aigo N700. If you haven’t heard, this is a 7-inch Android tablet that was formerly known as the AigoPad. It’s loaded with great features, some of the most notable is the second-generation Tegra chipset, Wi-Fi and 3G and up to 32GB of onboard storage.
The Shadow has been M.I.A. since we first heard about it a few months ago. It’s slowly making its way back to the forefront of Android news. Recently we’ve seen it pass the Wi-Fi alliance sporting wireless N technology and a few other details came with it. Now we have the first possible live shots of the final product.

I think it’s safe to say that if does come true Verizon will have the most impressive Android lineup even with the EVO on the horizon. Most people have been holding out for an Android with power and a physical keyboard, this may be the one all you have been waiting for.
A Chinese manufacturer by the name of Aigo has two Android MID’s in the making. The new tablets will come in a 5 and 7 inch version. Both will be running Android 1.6, there is no word on when or if these devices will be upgraded to Android 2.1. Price is rumored to be around 1500 Yuan which is roughly $220 and will be released in May.
