In the past we have seen some blurry ninja shots of this phone. It's slated to hit Verizon sometime in the near future. DevDroidian tweeted these pictures earlier today. Looks like it may be another Sense UI device.
There’s quite a few Verizon Droid Eris owners out there hankering for the features only available to newer Android versions, considering the last alleged update was something of a slip-up. An updated build has been leaked on XDA Developers, and the link to instructions is available after the cut.
Some of us suspected this from the beginning but still kept our hopes up. Keep in mind while reading this that this is only pertaining to full Flash 10.1, Flash lite is still a possibility. Several days ago we caught a glimpse of the HTC Incredible, purportedly heading to Verizon’s network as its first HTC smartphone running Android 2.1. Well, the Incredible has now surfaced in Verizon’s inventory system, which corroborates earlier specs reports.
Another surprise packed into this compact version of the Pulse. In the video below the representative stated that this phone can have up to 15 different home screens and this is all done on the stock firmware.
While we haven’t been able to fully confirm yet, evidence of the Droid Eris finally receiving an update (OTA, and Android 2.1 for that matter) has surfaced moments ago, and backed up by more than a few web denizens.
General Mobile has been known for making knockoff's of popular smartphones and usually we just laugh at them and forget about their existence. But this is a different situation, the Touch Stone looks to bring us something we all wanted but HTC could not deliver. Thats Android on the HD2.
This can't come soon enough for most Sprint Hero/Moment users. Since the release of the Droid every Android handset owner wanted to be a part of the Eclair family. Well, it's been months since the release of the Droid and there are only two Android devices running some version of Eclair. Sit tight Sprint customers because they are still testing 2.1 for their devices and they are getting ready to start pushing out the OTA's.
