PowerAMP Music Player for Android

Behold PowerAMP, a music player for Android devices that looks really spiffy. Our homie Alexandr sends us word of this magical application and we've just got to toss word to you. Alexandr has this app loaded on his HTC Hero, so keep that in mind when ingesting the factoids and pics you are about to see. First, look at these couple of screens. Dell Streak Pairs Up With A Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse – Video

Here’s another feature in the hat of the Dell Streak. You can connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to the massive 5 inch screen on the Streak. Currently, the mouse has no functionality but it still cool that it even recognizes it. A Bluetooth keyboard and a nice dock is a great combination. It almost acts as a mini desktop computer. The best part about this is there’s no hacking required. Apparently you just pair up your keyboard and you’re on your way. There is no lag when typing on the keyboard. Everything is displayed almost instantaneously. If you have a Streak, try it out. If you’re still waiting for it to arrive you now have an extra function to look forward too. This is the one area where an LCD screen has a slight advantage over AMOLED screen. Samsung has just eliminated that advantage with the release of the Super AMOLED screen that made its debut on the Galaxy S.

Samsung Galaxy Beam: world’s first Android projector phone

Projector phones were supposed to be “the next big thing” in the evolution of cell phones. So far, that hasn’t been the case, there was a non-Android based projector phone released here in the US recently. Needless to say it didn’t do so well as far as sales goes. I personally haven’t seen one in the wild since it was released. Can Samsung break this technology into the mainstream with the Galaxy Beam?
